Nevermind the lightweight part- that is OK if he can dribble. And he can. Much worse though, is his attitude. He is a spoiled brat, and selfish. Thinks he is a one man show. That's destructive for any team play.

He's a wee guy with bags of potential.

Plays either wing, but he's great on the counter attack and this is how i think he'd be used.
Defensively he's a wee guy, but he's got tricks and the right touch to take more than one player on.

So he could be extremely effective for us, especially if we're sitting a goal down in Europe and need an impact player, but he's someone you'd be confident starting games too.

He's got lots of pace and sometimes at Arsenal he's been played out on the right, which is maybe not his best position. He can however play quite an effective defensive game in right midfield. For a wee guy he's very strong.

I reckon he's got goals in him up here, so he'd be a really big loan signing, for someone needing games. Contracts up in a year, so you could end up with a weird one, like a loan to buy for Serge Gnabry. Ok, on high wages, but it's more power and pace to the attacking options we have. Played deeper he'll chase folk down all day, win the ball and keep it in tight areas.

If it's true, and it happens of course......

Good player who sort of burst on the scene at Arsenal, but not too sure how he's done since..

It's all looking far more positive now.

I hope we get chalobah or someone of that ilk, we really need a proper defensive midfielder IMO. We could maybe do with another ball playing midfielder to compliment him too.

Gnabry would be a fantastic signing. IIRC Brendan wanted to sign him for Liverpool. His loan to west brom was probably a bad decision, he was never going to fit in to a tony pulis side, but a side that plays quick expansive football would be perfect for him.

This is a guy who was a balls hair width from being called up to the Germany World Cup squad just over 2 years ago. He hasn't really kicked in since then, but I think he would tear it up in Scotland and would be a useful player in Europe

You mean he is another fatty like Commons.

I would pass on this. We need fast, fluent players in Brendan's new set up, not slow coaches.

Stocky is the word you are looking for.

A young professional footballer plying his trade at any level for Arsenal will not be a fatty.

He looks fat to me in his pictures and video, and that is probably why Tony Pullis passed on him. Pullis is no mug.

On the wind up again I see.

Pulis is a dinosaur in footballing terms. He's done nothing of note in his management career to date. Look at where Stoke are now compared to where they had been under pulis. He stagnates teams and players

Fair enough, gnabry isn't the quickest but he's by no means slow. You don't have to be the quickest player in order to perform in a quick moving team. Just look at Ozil in the Arsenal squad, who by be way is who gnabry has been earmarked to eventually replace at both club and national level

Gnabry would be a good signing.

Not sure about a loan mind you. We already have Roberts leaving us before next season, ideally we need 2 wingers in IMO who will be permanent. Sinclair being one.

But again, filling gaps that are clearly needing filled with loans that improve us for Rodgers first season so he can get in, suss out the budget restrictions and look to markets he's potentially never had to work in before is a good idea. Next season I'd expect to see us looking outside of England but Rodgers knows he needs to hit the ground running, any more performances like away to Imps and he'll be in trouble, so working with what and who he knows for now makes sense before widening the net.

Could be completely making this up but I always thought he had a bit of dig about him.

He's only 21 as well thought he was older.
