    Or Stefano Denswil?

Talented Centre back if we could afford him, what we're looking for is to uncover a gem like Virgil Van Dijk or Jason Denayer who we could afford.

Should be all over this guy. Most pointless signing by Chelsea and to add to that, he had a choice between us and them, or we were at least interested in buying him.

Thought I saw he was heading to Monaco. Would be a very good signing but I think he'd be out of our range.

Oscar Lewicki from Malmo would be a great choice as a DM. Actually puts in a tackle unlike Bitton and is a decent passer. Didn't know until now but he actually moved from Malmo to Bayern in his teens for a few years before going back to Sweden, so there is potential with him. Still young at 23, think he'd be a great signing.

I've said about Denswil before as well, we should've went for him when he left Ajax!.

Punt efe and boyota. Give mulgrew a new contract, sign Denswil and papy djilobodji.

Get johansen out and Biton can leave aswell if he doesn't get his finger out and staring showing some fight!. Ciftci, Forrest and GMS too!.

With those 2 signings and a few others I would love to see Rodgers play a 352 (with a cdm like contes set up)

    Gordon

    Sviatchenko
    Djilobodji
    Denswil

    Roberts or Elymoussi
    Allan or Biton or Armstong
Brown or Biton (as the cdm)
    Rogic
    Tierney

    Griffiths
    Dembele

Still think Griggs is worth a punt as well.

Or if he's going to go with his 433

    Gordon

    A new RB
    Sviatchenko
    Djilobodji/Denswil
    Tierney

    Rogic
Brown or Biton (as the holding cm)
Allan but preferably a new cm

    Roberts
    Griffiths rotating with Dembele
    Sinclair or Dembele

There's a lad that plays for the local Miners, great reader of the play stanks a half bottle of Bucky before the game and likes a * at half time.

I think he could be persuaded. A definite improvement on oor Efe.

It's doubtful this team will qualify now. Rodgers needs to go through and make some decisions about who panics and who can handle themselves out on a big pitch, in a hostile environment.

You need to factor in Scottish players not taking the heat so well and the nick of the astro turf pitch.

I've no confidence he can do anything other than paper over the cracks, from being a club with 50-60,000 fans having to watch a team of complete washouts.

Football's not a place where you can take a few touches and have a think about, should i pass it this way, or that way? But i think it's telling Ambrose always shows for the ball and Janko can't wait to pass the ball back to him. I never saw him make a run up the right wing all * night.

In the same way, you look at Ambrose and wonder if he actually talks to anyone on the pitch. He does however show for the ball and you wonder what any of the midfielders playing in that position would be like.

What we suffer from is living in the hope of development bubble and i think it's time we ditched this philosophy. It's a man's game and we've a team who look feart to put a tackle on someone. It's high time that changed.

None of these pretty football playing midfielders are consistent. None of them other than maybe Scott Brown, but even he looked edgy until later in the game when the subs came on.

But we sure as * need a whole new defense if you want to play Champions' League football. Boyata on that pitch would be the same car crash, maybe even worse.

Izzy is incredibly experienced, especially playing Summer football. Maybe letting Efe go and play international football would have stuck him in the shop window.

Certainly a few guys need a loan to England, you could take your pick from 3 or 4.

Coming the other way, loan deals can be extremely helpful right now. It's a numbers game. We buy a striker we don't need, follow that up signing another, we don't need.

This is a failure to recognize the amount of goals Griffiths would score in the English Championship. Deila and Collins were excellent for his game.

I personally think he scores less with another striker up with him, and nobody, not even Scott Brown, showing signs of being capable to drop a ball into the striker, bypassing the midfield.

75% of possession and we still lost the game.

So we're needing an Alan THompson type guy, maybe set piece specialists, who play midfield. Goals from midfield. Someone who'll take a player on knowing it increases the cahnces of taking a tackle, but confident in the no that the opposing guy comes out of a fair challenge knowing he's been in one.

As soon as we did that the other night, they started to realize, oh these kick back!!!

We're quite happy to sit back and dodge tackles and they're keen on putting some hefty ones in and we maybe play with too much fear and not enough confidence, possession for 75%, but the strikers get ten touches all game.

We might get better quality on loan, and we've paniced at this point a few times and brought them in.

So loanees, we could have anyone not getting a game, from any team.

    Who'd you have?

Posted this in the Lars Weldwijk thread but * it, its a suggestion...

Kolbeinn Sigthorsson. Better record with better teams in Holland. Has European and international experience, and would be cheap (£2-2.5mil) from Nantes. He's coming off a tough year but circumstances surrounding the management and ownership have a big part to play in that. If we are looking for a target man, he's my pick over anyone.

Lack of transfer activity is getting embarrassing.

Board want to hold off until we progress in Europe? How about we hold off buying or season tickets until we find out how we progress in Europe?
