I don't know if this is the right place to post this (was going to start a new thread).

How would everyone feel about us having a partnership with a EPL team where we get players who aren't ready for there team and they get first choice on our players. If this was to happen I wouldn't mind one with Chelsea, Man City or a team at that level while Norwich would be a no no

That might be a bit satirical but we really do need a set piece expert for frees and corners preferably someone who plays on the Left wing

I'm just laughing cos you said you had never seem him in real life mate. I agree though we need someone who's an expert in set pieces, wouldn't care if he was a CB or striker though as long as he was good at them.

Yoell Van Nieff is a better choice and I have seen him play

Christian Santos, the one who we were linked with in January is a free agent in the summer.

A list of players who could be without a club this summer (Correct me if I am wrong)
Goalkeeper (I feel we need a different third choice so Fasan can go out on loan and think that Craig Gordon or Logan Bailly may pick up a injury)
Steve Mandanda, Marseille, would most likely be first choice
Artur Boruc, Bournemouth, Bring back the Holy Goalie
German Lux, Deportivo La Coruna, My Personal Favourite
    Fabri, Deportivo La Coruna
Brad Jones, NEC, Would be a good third choice
    Piet Velthuizen, Vitesse

Right Backs ( I feel that Lustig should be gradually be replaced by Janko or someone else as First Choice)
Dario Srna, Shaktar Donetsk, could give us some Leadership when Broony doesn't play
Alvaro Arbeloa, Real Madrid, Could be great for us
    Jeremy Pled, Nice, Most likely
    Ezequiel Scoletto, Sporting

Centre Backs (Mulgrew looks to be leaving and Ambrose should be nowhere near our team all have some Leadership qualities)
    Ron Vlaar, AZ
    Daniel Agger, Brondby
    John Terry, Chelsea,
    Chris Samba, Dinamo Moscow
    Steve Cook, Bournemouth, Most Likely
    Andrea Barzagli, Juventus
    Kolo Toure, Liverpool
    Kelvin Wilson, Nottingham Forrest
    Alex, AC Milan
    Brede Hangeland, Crystal Palace

Left Back (allow Izzy to leave and bring someone else in to be Second Choice)
Patrice Evra, Juventus, a lot of experience which could help Tierney progress
    Kieran Richardson, Aston Villa, Versatile
Fabio, Cardiff City, good young attacking Left Back
    Armand Traore, QPR

Defensive Midfielders (Someone to Back Up Broony. Ajer to play third choice. All are leaders)
    Miguel Veloso, Dinamo Kyiv
    Michael Carrick, Man U
    Ricardo Montolivo, AC Milan
    Tom Huddlestone, Hull
Francesco Lodi, Udinese, good free kick taker

Central Midfielders (likely to be someone leaving and with Bitton and Johansen not performing we need other choices)
Raul Merieles, Fenerbahce, Champions League Quality
James Morrison, West Brom, Scotland International
Tonny Vilhena, Feyenoord, Young and Most Likely
Leon Osmon, Everton, my favourite in the list for Central Midfield

    Wingers (we badly need some)
Ahmed Elmohamady, Hull, I have watched him a few times and seemed decent
Junior Hoilett, QPR, could be a good signing
Georgios Samaras, Rayo, still want him back
    Hal Robson-Kanu, Reading
Jonas Gutierrez, Deportivo La Coruna, could be good to have around the team

Attacking Midfielders (as I was doing everywhere else just decided on this)
Hatem Ben Arfa, Nice, could continue rebuilding his career
    Stephane Sessegnon, West Brom
    Yoann Gourcuff, Rennes

Strikers ( need some backup for Leigh Griffiths)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, PSG, shift the dead weight and spend it on him. Would be better than whatever 2 million pound signing we make and shirt sales would rocket.
    Youssef El Arabi, Granada
David Villa, NYC FC, could be looking to come back to Europe
Leandro Daimao, Real Betis, better than Cole
Adam Le Fondre, Wolves, Most Likely
Maroune Chamakh, Crystal Palace, what we would end up with for 2 million

Good suggestions but we don't have a chance with the Chinese and MLS offering them huge wages for a final payday

The team he plays for (Hannover) are 90% gonna get relegated to the 2. Bundesliga this season and so that would be a good opportunity to snap him up on the cheap.

He's a talented player, good technical ability like a lot of the Japanese players, he's been injured for most of this season though. He'd definitely bring something different to the team, reminds me of Naka a lot and not just because he's Japanese of course :smiley-laughing002:

I'd pass on the Japanese market myself. Championship level players can help us get through the qualifiers, too pricey for some but if we scout the players they are trying to sign it can be done that way.

Other markets that look good are Holland, Belgium and the eastern block. Scandinavia as well. But for me the main two should be Holland and England. For me that's the quickest way to get into the Champions' League.

One decision is whether you want to add height to the squad and make us far more difficult to break down.

    That all sounds great.

Are we getting a move to EPL next season? I must have missed that meeting.
