    Think i read yesterday that Ben Arfa had his contract mutually terminated with Newcastle and was joining Nice. When i was reading it I was shocked to see that he was still only 27 they way his career was stagnating i thought he was creeping into his 30s and couldnt be arsed should just be in his prime.

    And the last two players we signed who hadn't played in years - Craig Gordon and John Guidetti - turned out to be not too bad. :bbpd:

    If we're talking about players who hadn't played first team football, you can add Denayer to that list.

    I suppose you'd be better placed to make signings for the club.

    OK try and explain to me why you'd want to sign Bismark Adjei-Boateng? At the end of the day this kind of signing will get us nowhere.

    Would you sign someone like this for the run in? Would you throw him into an old/new firm derby? Would you fire him into a midfield two next to Scott Brown against Inter Milan.

    If this is the level of the signings vert, you could pick better players yourself and you know fine well you could. Anybody with half a football brain would not be trying to take Celtic up a level by signing development squad players from Manchester City who can't get a game for Manchester City's develolpment squad.

    Adjei-Boateng (or Nana) did well for Stromsgodset but has had injury problems for a while now. That would be my main worry about signing him.

    I don't know why he wants to see him. I don't even know who the boy is.

    I'm going to hazard a guess that Deila's more qualified than any of us to make that decision.
