I agree, wouldn't be most expensive players either. But a lot of them go to Spain or Portugal if they are decent.

Even Rangers and Dundee have had Cannigia

Well the most promising right now should be Arellano, he is a pure striker.. but the bad thing about him is that he's got lots of injuries... As soon as the season starts here, I shall be making an update of players :icon_mrgreen:

When does your season start? Is it around the same as us half way through August?

Diego Buonanotte - quick, good crosser of the ball and can score also.
Maximiliano Moralez - very tricky player, great vision and passin, similar in style to messi but i think he would be too lightweight for the spl.
Edwin Cardona (Colombia) - i've heard alot about this player but havnt had a chance to see him play yet. but what i've been told by reliable sources is he is definatly a player to watch.
Gerson Martínez(chile) - is a top young striker with bags of potential, great movement and finishing.

As i said before there would be problems getting work permits but another problem especially with young players in the argentinian leagues is as soon as they show any promise or potential they get snapped up straight away, such as Franco Jara who has huge potential, similar in style to Tevez, as soon as he showed a bit of class he was snapped up by benfica in january so you have to be very quick. I still think Celtic should make an enquiry about Riquelme and Palermo, they might be old especially Palermo but they are still world class, Palermo would score for fun in the spl.

I would love us to sign Jelavic, as he would definitely score goals in the SPL and Europe as well

He's rated 8 million and I dont think he has joined them yet mate.

He'd score for fun in the SPL though.

Just in my personal opinion, argentinian and brazilian market are over-rated.. that's what makes that young players may get to cost like 10m euros, and only big teams go for them.. In my opinion celtic has to explore new markets, and besides mexico its a great opportunity to gather fans, many ideals from celtic are well seen here.. just my opinion

In the last few seasons weve been scouting alot in Scandanavia (Finland Iceland etc etc) we've found Rogne who may turn out to be oneo f the best centre backs in Europe imo but we need to be looking more in South America (Brazil Argentina Mexico etc etc) And Asia (Japan China South Korea etc etc) This is whee most of the talent is but we seem to be looking around europe too much and like you said Salvador its the same here if someone in Europe shows talent Man Utd Barca and Madrid are staright onto it also I think we need to look into Ireland more theres A LOT of little gems there.

Ya he's a great finisher in front of goal and still only young. The video of Cardona is the first time i've seen him myself but as far as i know he's only turned 17 and highly rated. I found a video of Maximiliano Moralez for you also but as i said he is top class similar in style to messi but he is tiny, kind of looks like a schoolboy playing in the video lol

Personally Salvador the mexican market is overated also, over da past 2 years alot of transfers from mexican teams have fallen threw over the over inflated price tags on players, take christian benitez for example who played on loan for birmingham last year, dont get me wrong i thought he was a good player but didnt think he was worth the money that santos laguna were looking for him and neither did birmignham who pulled out of the deal. The main markets we should be looking at for value and top quality young players is the chile and colombian leagues. the big clubs dont look outside brazil and argentina too often so thats where we should be targeting, take lucas Barrios who signed for £3 million to borussia dortmund from colo colo in chile and his first season in germany he got 19 goals in 33 games! before he moved there he was top scorer in chile and theres a player ive mentioned a few times before that also plays for colo colo by the name of Macnelly Torres, he was linked with boca juniors before and it was mentioned on t.v last year here that celtic were monitering him, but this player is unbelievable, his vision and passing are up there with the greatest players. heres a video of him.
I apologise for the long post also:icon_mrgreen:
