i read earlier today that de boer has said Sigþórsson is likely to leave ajax before the season starts.

i know we are hardly short on strikers, but i think we could be seeing one or two of them leaving as well as at least one going out on loan. i think if a few do leave, then Sigþórsson would be a great option to bring in

 

no way he would come to us, it would be a complete sideways step. If he is leaving Ajax he obviously wants to play in a better league and earn a higher wage, neither of which we can offer. Only way I could see him making a move to a team like us is for more game time but I was under the impression he was starting at Ajax.
