    I'd take Ferdinand alongside Van Dijk.

    Bags of European experience and a decent mentor for our younger players. If we could get him on decent wages we wouldn't have much to lose.

    Clearly has a big affinity with us.

    I,m not saying we should or could sign him; but if he was open to a big old wage drop to come and play, would you be happy to have him? I know its not our signing policy now after the likes of Ljunberg etc....its just a hypothetical scenario.

    Was listening to Talksport today, they reckon if he doesnt go to the America then its either Burnley or West Ham!!

    Just put this on too....long drive today listening too Talksport and they are talking about him at Burnley FFS!!

    Would help Virgil and Efe in the Champions league (assuming Virgil is still with us)

    Honesty, if he was going to pay his own wages I wouldn't have him anywhere near Celtic and even further from the playing squad .
    He has always been over rated in my opinion , and has been finished for about two years .

    Carlos Kameni, if Forster does leave... He was an absolutely fantastic keeper while at Espanyol! His shot stopping and reflex reactions were out of this world! Was linked with the likes of Man United at the time but unfortunately for him things haven't worked out since he joined Malaga and is currently playing 2nd fiddle to * Caballero, who has supposedly been looked at as a short term replacement to Joe Hart at Man City... so it's not really that bad playing second fiddle to someone like that. He's only 30, meaning he still has a good few years in him as a keeper. He also has plenty of experience, with nearly 250 La Liga appearances to his name and 70 caps for Cameroon. Could maybe be worth bringing in an experienced keeper for between the sticks, while we develop a younger player to eventually replace and compete with him? He's also available on a free so we couldn't really go wrong with him... not sure what sort of wages he'd be on though as Malaga did have a fair few bob to splash at one point? If he was on high wages though, I'm sure he'd take a cut for first team and champions league football...

    Very unrealistic but Lasogga would be an excellent signing. Scored over 1 in 2 for Hamburg this season, on loan from Hertha Berlin.

    My mate in work said he read somewhere that he wants one more crack at Europe and he would like it to be with Celtic due to him not being in the WC squad is this true or just bullshit anybody else see this anywhere ??
