question is will they all come into the team straight off? don't think Skippy is going anywhere as only WGS is in for him.

 

Is it a good thing to have these new guys all in the team all at the same time? I hope so.

But the quote about him being a centre-back also comes from the official Bayern website which is reputable enough. I.e. this old piece here - "Braafheid was a player sought after by new Bayern coach Louis van Gaal and can play as a left-back as well as a centre-back."

I didn't say he was a fantastic signing but he certainly has some impressive credentials.

 

The quote of saying he is a great signing wasn't aimed at you. Simed at some of the quotes i have seen around here. But if that is the case, Then seems once again we are signing someone for a position which he doesn't really play. Hmmmm. We shall see.

 

I don't think it would be the end of the world if Skippy left for me, just my opinion, he is probably too similar to Rasmussen. I like the idea of Kamara, a really pacey forward that can get in behind a defence and cause problems, It would add a add a new dimension to the attack and a bit of quality remember that Ki can pick out a runner from nearly anywhere in the park.. Skippy is too slow for that sort of game and samaras just doesnt seem to make those kinds of runs. I say that from a balanced point of view obviously I do like skippy but if I was weighing it up I would take kamara to freshen things up. Not too fussed about Ramis he wants a get out clause so he can go to the premiership as soon as a bid comes in (so I read) would like to see SSL as hes a smasing wee player.

 

His natural position is LB, that's what he played at Bayern. He started as LB for Twente and they switched him to a cb, not sure why, and he impressed in that position as well. He can play either, but was first a talent at LB.

I'm happier than I was at this stage last year in terms of signings.

Hopefully they can claw back the gap, although that is a massive task.

 

This revolution is happening far too fast. Yes, we needed CB sorted this month, but the summer would have been a much wiser time for htis overhaul, when we had a pre-season to work through. At most January should serve as dealing with minor surgery on 1 or 2 positions and freshen the squad, not overhauls.

Hope TM & his new signings can prove me wrong, it makes for great headlines, but its a dangerous game Mogga is playing. I have a bad feeling about this.
