    Nobody knows much about Rivaldo, which makes it interesting. Maybe you combat a high press with a more technically gifted player and a range of passing with both feet.

    A 1st choice CB is a must for me, anything else is a bonus. We've always been good at scoring goals but our defence is what has let us down IMO

    Is all we need. But any player that comes available that will be an upgrade on what we have currently is always welcome . Ntcham ousting Armstrong style.

    Simunovic, Boyaya, Sviathcenko, Rivaldo, Ajer means we have plenty at CB .

    I can't see Ajer going out on loan again tbh. If Erik goes then we have Ajer, Jozo, Boyata (who is out for another wee while yet) and Coetzee (who is still young and will need time to settle in).

    Unless we sign another centre half, loaning out Ajer would leave us thin on centre backs.

    I'll be shocked if we sign another centre half after just getting Coetzee.

    Rodgers has said Boyata is his first choice defender so he'll be partnering Jozo when he's back.

    I still really don't see the need to bring in another striker. Obviously we could've got bit in the * with both Griff and Moussa being out, but how often will you have both of your top strikers out at the same time, when you only play one up front anyways?

    Both are guaranteed to score goals and they've both proven it at a high level. If both are fit, adding another striker in the mix is just going to cause unneeded drama. The third striker will either take game time away from our current strikers who are proven quality, or sit on the bench and collect a wage. Not worth it in my opinion.

    I still would've preferred an experienced CB over Rivaldo. I first thought he would cost around £2M but if the fee's only £800K, then we have plenty of room to sign up another proven defender.

    It won't happen, but I'd love to see someone with European pedigree brought in.

    If rumors are true and Erik goes for 3.5 plus izaguirre 1.25 and we spent 4.4 on ntcham and 800,000 on Rivaldo then we have only spent 450,000 in terms of money recouped
