Fair enough Paddy can play through middle but as I have previously said there will be someone out there who we can get even on a 5 month loan deal to get us through to January then reassess things again then with a view to summer 2018 because in all eventuality moussa will probably go next summer anyway.

I'd honestly just sign two CBs and take anything else as a bonus.

One thing is for sure, we definitely do not need more midfielders. That's the strongest area of the park for us, as well as out on the wings.

Going into our CL group without signing at least two proper central defenders is footballing suicide. Look at how Astana took us apart with two CMs playing in the central positions and almost overturned a 5 goal deficit.

Now think about what Bayern and PSG would do to us; it would make Barcelona last year look timid.
