I just chewed an aspirin. They are quite sweet. I wasn't expecting that.

That aspirin has literally halved the pain I was feeling, almost immediately.

However I can now manipulate the tooth more freely and it is about to snap in two. You can literally hear it coming apart just below the jaw line

Even when the pain was unbearable I couldn't help having a go at it. Sometimes when you make it more painful for a minute it seems less so for a bit. Now that the aspirin has kicked in I'm having a right good go and loosening it. Genuinely thinking of taking my pliers to it.

Don't think they make pliers small enough to grip that though, so praise be Allah!

I had 3 weeks of toothache just before Xmas, first week I felt it wasn't too bad but, gradually it got worse and on the Sunday night I had to phone the emergency dentist as the pain was so bad.
No Sunday service down here so phoned Monday morning , appointment on the Wednesday resulting in a filling deep canal.
Another week of fuking pain as they said 3 days for it to calm down....in again tooth out.
Next up dry cavity...another 5 days of pain but sorted on next appointment.
I told him at the start to take it out which would have solved a lot of sleepless nights.
Ibuprofen and paracetamol taken in turns every 3 hours helped.
