pinning my hopes on the Icelandic boy, the rest looks like moneys been * up wall.

 

I think that Balde hasn't had enough game time for us to fairly judge him, but Stokes and Pukki clearly aren't reliable goal scorers, Sammy isn't a striker, Atajic isn't ready to be our main striker, and Fridjonsson has only played in the Icelandic league, so it remains to be seen if he is good enough for this level (though I am hopeful). Assuming we don't sign a new striker, we need Tony back. The unbeaten run won't last if we aren't scoring goals.

 

Going by his twitter looks like he will return to Lierse.

 

He was back at training the other day... what is happening with him?

 

The Belgian league has his winter break.
Players are free untill the 5th of January. (start of training camp in Portimao (Portugal))

He got it back the other day.

 

Basically finding it hard to get my head around this boy.
Personally I think that he could do a job for us but do you guys think lenny is doing the right thing by continuing his loan even even though he wants to come home?

I was all for it the start of the season but it hasn't worked out the way I expected, I wanted him to get more game time in a stronger league, with a team smaller than Celtic so he realises how lucky he is to be in the position he is at with Celtic.

I don't think that's happened so far. He plays well when he plays, he has all the talent at his feet but does he have the mentality?

 

Was thinking the same myself mate, however it seems from the other managers comments that he's basically acting like a spoiled brat. He needs a kick up the backside, Tommy Burns wouldn't have be long in sorting him out

 

Agreed there mate, Tommy is a massive miss for stuff like that
