I'd rather have a striker who eats biscuits and scores goals than Cifti

Aye so he did mate. I've corrected * on that before and just tucked myself up :56:

    What a clown..

Still a good player, who if got his daftness out the way, would be a big player....that would hopefully come back. He's banging in goals for a decent side now, so he'll end up very shortly, out of our range..

That Griffiths scene was priceless :smiley-laughing002:

Remember when Watt first came on the scene here he was brilliant. Putting himself all about the place and really looked like he would scored whenever he played. When he came on against Barca I expected him to score, he just had that energy about him. Whatever happened to him must be mental or ill discipline because you don't just lose that ability. Seems to happen to players though and it's a huge shame cause you always imagine in the right hands they'd kick on and fulfill that potential. There must be examples of players whose careers were rescued in a similar situation to his.

I'd like to see him back here too if his mind was right.

Tony Watt, Kelvin Wilson and Aiden McGeady in the January transfer window please Ronny. And Henrik Larsson as assisstant coach.

Ffs Padmill what did he ever do to you :smiley-laughing002:

Wouldn't be overly arsed at the thought of him coming back.

Maybe not, but he'd be ideal to pull off the bench when required, wouldn't he? He's certainly more appealing than Ciftci and Cole.

Dear *. So many teams seem aware of his talent but none of them seem to be able to harness it.

    What a waste.

Would Blackburn not be his 3rd club this season? He played a few games for Charlton before his loan to Cardiff? Surely he can't move again?

Tony Watt said it was a ‘no brainer’ to make the move to Ewood Park after speaking to Rovers boss – and Celtic legend – Paul Lambert.
The Scottish forward, who famously scored the winning goal for Celtic in a Champions League tie against Barcelona in November 2012, has joined on loan from Charlton Athletic until the end of the season, with a view to a permanent deal.

Having played against Rovers twice this month – for Cardiff City and Charlton – Watt is well aware of the quality within the squad and he is excited by what can be achieved in the future.

“I'm delighted to sign,” said the 22-year-old. “It was a no brainer when I had the chance to join and hopefully I can stay here for as long as possible.

“Blackburn is a massive club and I just want to play at the highest level that I can. We’ve got a very good squad – a squad that I’ve seen at close quarters – and I wouldn't have signed if I didn't think I could do something here.

“When I spoke to the manager, he said all the right things and he sold it to me straight away. He wants me to play free, to work hard and he wants to make me a better player, and that ticked a lot of boxes for me.

“He’s been a big player at Celtic and that’s the club I support, so obviously I respect him highly."

Rovers now await official confirmation from the football authorities as to whether Watt is eligible to play in tomorrow's Emirates FA Cup tie at Oxford United.
