What a debut. Would love to see him get on against R*ngers, the reception if he came on would be amazing in itself!

Watt did wonderfully well. Last time I spoke of him, some * tossers feigning knowledge said he would never make it blah blah blah.

He has a long way to go, but watching him today was a pleasure. Well in, young man. Those of us who know what the * we are speaking about knew this day would happen some time ago. Nice to be proved right.

    Watch this guy.

Would love to see him play against the huns but i think it will be too much to ask to start him. Bring him on.

He's still young and learning but he took his two goals very well today.

Been itching to see him since we signed him from Airdrie, and just my luck missed the game today. Hopefully that's him showed enough to be considered ready for the first team. Some great young players who look ready to push on to the next level.

Right time to introduce him to the team when there's less pressure.

    Exciting or Watt?:shamrock:

    "Do you know what?"
    "Nope, never met him."
"What? I said 'Do you know what?'"
    "Oh. What?"
    "Some player that boy."
    "Who?"
    "Watt."
    "I said 'Who?'"
    "I said Watt."
    "What?"
    "Aye - Watt."

Seven minutes into his 1st team debut and he's already banged in two.

And that's against Motherwell, the current "Best of the Rest".

Think we could have a live one here... :50:

The two goals in a few minutes put the victory in the bag but the glaringly obvious to me after the first goal was the way the rest of the team responded and lifted their game. I guess that would have happened no matter who had scored but the post match congratulations on the park from his team mates showed a real appreciation for the youngster's efforts.

One to be watched for sure.

Delighted for the Bhoy. He took his chances and has a great future with us I hope. Bit risky saying he should start next Sunday and piling the pressure on him in such a game. But definitely worth a place on the bench.

    I don't think so..

I think we're over cautious with our youngsters now.. Look at the likes of mcgeough comes on and scores and wonder goal and then we don't see him for months, His talent is obvious but we don't play him:97: how is that good for his development? Blooding a player in is great but I don't think it has to be done over a period of years in can be done in months or weeks even. There's no benefit to a players development by not letting him play...

If he's shown he can do it play him, this isn't exactly the most high pressured OF game he can go into. Who knows an experience like this might be good for the bhoy.
