    Let the people sing,
Great game from the lad but no way would i be starting him on Wednesday, if we are sitting pretty after a while then i would rather bring him on for the last 20 minutes or so.

No point not exposing him to a better caliber of players if he is firing on all cylinders in the SPL.

Going forward, yes but he keeps * diving and keeps stopping to stare at the ref and flinging his arms up. It's doing my head in and I think he needs to be brought back to reality. Commons and Sammy did more damage than him in Sweden and I don't want Hooper up top himself, especially at Parkhead.

Watt proved today he deserves a shot at it, was our most dangerous player in Dingwall when he came on last week as well, couple with that he is our biggest striker and even Hooper was bullying Helsinborgs strikers in the air, I want him playing.

I think you're overreacting. Forrest did that once against Helsingborg, and apart from that was the reason we managed to get a foothold in the game.

He done it 3 times. Do you think he deserves a place unfront of top scorer Commons or ahrad of Sammy who has done the most damage for us in Europe?

Not at the moment, but I could see all three of them playing with Hooper in front of them by himself. I just think you're being much too harsh on him.

Wasn't he given the free kick the other two times?

No, he wasn't and he was going down easily. I'm not being harsh, he's had over a year to stop it. It's embarrasing.

Really don't want Hooper up top himself, he's a link up play striker. Give him someone to link up with. Watts our highest scoring striker and currently out most dangerous. He needs to start.

I'll take your word for it but I can only remember it happening once. Anyway, you could make a case for either of them starting and I won't mind either way. I don't think Watt will start though.

I'd seriously consider partnering this lad with Hooper for a run of games, including Helsingborg if we go 4-4-2.

Stokes, our other main threat (as an out and out striker) up front, for me isn't doing the business - I can't remember the last time Stokes had any serious influence on any of our matches and the partnership with Hooper seems to have died of death a little. In fact Stokes frustrates me at times as too often he wastes decent attacks by being too eager to score.

Watt, in the handful of games he's had a decent amount of time has had a serious influence on our play. He won the game for us at Motherwell last season, threatened at Ross County and was a class act today. He's definitely a bit raw but he'll never learn with fleeting appearances off the bench. For me he's earned his chance for a run of games. I say give him it and see how it goes - we're struggling for a partner for Hooper in a 4-4-2 (unless we buy one).

I like that team too :50:, and we could bring Forrest on in the second half to run them ragged. It dozen't always do to be too predictable. With the emergence of Tony Watt as first team material, I think we can drop the idea of buying another striker now.

Hooper does that a lot as well when fouled mate.

I'm not saying it's right but it isn't just wee Shooders. Paddy done it twice today as well.

Mind you Gollum is a * so...

movement he has is something you cant teach and is instictive , always recieves the ball facing goal...that is a natural instinct. runs the channels , drops a shoulder, has a great finish .

no need to buy a striker just give this boy the run in the team he has earnt . jock stein would.

Paddy was doing nut in with it today as well. Hooper generally does it when it's impossible to go on, Hoopers a battler. If you look att his attitude against Helsinborg compared to Forrest theres a massive difference, look at Samaras big chance at the end. It was Hooper chasing back to disposses the man at the left back possesion. Thats the kind of attitude I want to see from
    James Forrest.

He scores goals for the Glasgow Celtic,

He does things I never expected,

    But he's Green and White...

:56: Jesus, Forrest was inspirational against Helsingborg. As Strachan said, he took the game by the scruff of the neck and showed the desire to win it. Quite frankly, who gives a * if he went down easily a few times?

There is no way Forrest should be getting a game over Kris Commons full stop.

I do, against better teams he'll be punished for it. He was good going forward, that isn't all that is required for Celtic. It's not just against Helsinborgs he does it. It's very frustrating. He needs to work harder, I've never seen him do anything like what Hooper done againsg Helsinborgs, have you?

This lad is still very raw but he knows where the back of net is. Promising.
