I would have Strachan anyday over this clown, Infact I would honestly prefer John Barnes back, even he has a better record * sake,

Answer me this, why were people so quick to jump on his back and let this * Mowbray away with the exact same ? After all they both had the ''long term'' view ? And Barnes's seemed to be working btter than this clow 'statistically wise'

Strachan had won nothing by February, Give Mowbray the same courtesy before comparing their retrospective success.

i know it aint been best of days after todays result but i know if hibs win tomorrow at ibrox then all posts will change to we can win the league.

all i gotta say is stay faithful thru and thru the tide can change at any moment ,now were scoring goals we just have to keep few cleansheets and hope to * the other mob lose some points along the way.

so hail hail and keep the faith

    I can't see it mate.

The huns not buying anyone for a long period of time is working in their favour, all the players know each other well, they know Walters style, etc.
A team need more time to gel, I know everyone keeps saying it - but it does.

Yeah lets stay faitful with a manager that coudnt run a bath never mind a football team, he has had so many chance and * them all, hope he resigns in the morning, do us all a favour, walk away and give a new manager time to come in and see the team, see who he wants to keep in the summer etc, cut our losses now

The Mogga experiment has made me rethink. Assumign we cant get a real top manager, we just needed a talented old style manager who has maybe done well at a smaller Scottish club like Levein and Yogi. That is how we got many of our successful managers in the past. These guys are battle hardened and know the score and may do very well with more resources than they are used to. We do not need football philosopers with ideals. This the at least the 3rd time that the 'Celtic way' idea has led to a particular manager coming in and it has never really worked since Stein. All the SPL managers who have done well over the years like MON, WGS, Fergie, Jim McClean, Wattie, Souness etc have all been practical hardball guys with no pretentions other than winning. They all has a similar type of dominant personality and were probably bullies in their own way but they were leaders who were very successful. Its a personality type and strangely Scots often make good manager of this type. Moyes is another one. I think the nearest to that type of man we could get is Levein. I felt it in the summer, I felt it in October and I feel it now. I do believe he would give up the Scotland job. Like Mogga he has an eye for a player but unlike Mogga he lives on planet earth.

We have to be at times the huns dont have two pennys to rub together and we are pure rotten, Mowbray dosent have a clue how to manage the team or make decent signings, ad the board expect us to pay about 500quid to watch it week in week out when the money could be best spent elsewhere especially in the current climate

Mowbray couldn't run a menodge and it is cringeful to see Celtic fans having to pray for Hibs to do us a turn tomorrow. We have been doing this all season with this clown of a manager Mowbray, who spends more time gazing at his friggin shoes than coaching the team.

It was WGS decision to leave, he had his fair share of supporters too!

What i don't get is how TM has a long term vision yet has assembled a team full of short term ambition.

This will most likely be his undoing.

If Mowbray cant run a team how did he turn hibs into a good team , and how did he win the championship by a mile playing good football.

I know this has been one of the shitest seasons we've had for a while but i have confidence that mowbrays team will eventually become good.

A support Celtic the football club and want to see them play well, managers come and go, if one is not doing the job for the team a support then a will voice my discontent. If this was the first, even fifth shamblic performance then ok, but enough is enough, if it keeps goin this way were gona finish 3rd. Not good enough :31:

Not a great league. A really poor team can get pretty close to the top. Only a month ago Middlesbrough were down and out. Now they are almost in play off position. Its a * league where a side can be boosted enough by an influx of Celtic fringe players to get back into promotion contention. Even the bottom of the EPL its pretty crap. I watched a couple of Wigan games vs lower EPL sides and the passing game was way way poorer than the SPL. They may be better athletes but their game was very very poor. I think the only thing that gives lower EPL and better Championship players the edge on the SPL is pace and athleticism coming mainly from the black players. I actually think SPL teams play much nicer passing football as a team. So, winning the championship doesnt really impress me. Its the equivalent of coming in 3rd in the SPL IMO and means nothing.

Agree mate, would've been a different story if our defence had'nt threw the game away. The only Mowbray decision i did'nt agree with today was taking Keane off for Samaras. I felt we were causing them problems but by replacing Keane we weakened our threat.
