Championship is not what people think. No better than the SPL, despite more money. There was no pressure on him to win it. Now he's expected to win, and he isn't coping well. And even if it's good enough, how come we're sitting 10 points behind Huns who are playing boring football? Either Mowbray can't implement the style well, or he's just an idealist who won't accommodate to the specific nature of the SPL. In both cases, he has to walk.

It is TM's fault.. He's the one in charge so he has to take the blame.. Very little has gone the way it should have done this season so progress has still to be made by way of results..
A lot of the blame can be pointed at TM but there are are also other factors to why we are so far adrift in 2nd place but what matters to me is not where we are right now but where TM is going to take us in the weeks , months and years ahead..
Someone within Celtic Park will have to make the call at some point if things don't go as planned but that time isn't going to be soon I don't think..

TM has said he doesn't need to get animated to please people who question his lack of emotion in the dug-out.. He does his work with players on the training ground and has them prepared before they even step onto the pitch on match days.. Just because he doesn't show the same emotion as fans doesn't mean it matters any less to the man..
Im sure people like to think that's the case though and will use it as one of many things to beat him with..

I should also say that if Peter Grant or Neil Lennon were doing the shouting for him that people would then question TM's lack of passion when others are doing his job for him..

haha and you really think kamara is going to swap the premiership for the second best club in scotland? and you think braffheid will swap bayern munich for a team that cant hold onto a 4-2 lead against aberdeen for 10 minutes? and you really think when a premiership team comes calling for n guemo hes going choose to play for a team that wont be in the CL and will get papped out of the europa cup straight away? and how are we going to pay for these 3 signings plus the other signings we will be making? sell mcgeady? boruc?

m8 im a celtic supporter win ,lose, draw for past 30 odd year

its good to see the paranoia brigade are out in force we gotta support our team and not just moan when were losing infact yesterday game was a draw and considering the defence was missing 3 key defenders and we played with 3 younger lads i think people need to get a grip ,we can only use the tools we have got in the box so to speak cant keep blaming the manager if people have a problem with him trying to rebuild the * that strachan left us in last season after all the dross we had to watch in last couple months of last season seriously were would u rather be at this stage rebuilding or just in total disarray,
now all you doubters answer that one?:shamrock:

would happily sell mcgeady and boruc get better in

its up to us wether we sign kamara and as for braafheid im in no doubt that he knows 2/4 goals were his fault n he doesnt even play for bayern wel he does but doesent get game, and nguemo could go to prem but im sure he would want to stay here as champs league football can be offered

Sorry but i dont buy that, we just havent got the right man for the job.

MON used to play good football and win games so it is possible.

If Sir Wattie had the money we have he would be winning and playing good football into the bagain too, the reason Rearangers are grinding out results at the moment is because thats the style of football there financial situation dictates at this moment in time.

In my opinion we are lagging behind because of the amount of player turnover there has been. It is completely unrealistic to expect that a team can hit the ground running and play to their full potential when it has had so much surgery done to it. In time it will begin to come together. The surgery had to be done though because Gordon Strachan left us with a team that had gone stale and a group of players who seemed unwilling to take a little bit of public criticism even when it was deserved.

Tony Mowbray does not have to walk.

Well firstly fortune has been bang on form lately so think that is a little unfair on him! Also what about our new captain? Surely he would be in our central midfield role? I think kamara will stay as well as nguemo.....i think braffheid will come into a game but i think bayern will be looking for too much....there proper greedy *! Obviously we would never be able to afford keane.

Also i totally agree with this thread! I think we should all back mogga until christmas! If there is nothing changed and we are still playing the way we are then get him to * but at the moment i will stick with him until christmas and see what buisness he does in the summer!

Those players weren't bad last season, infact Caldwell was POTY, so what has Mowbray done to them?

Do you think it's just a coincidence that every side Mugga has managed has been shocking defensively?

your right fortune has been playing really well and i am a big fan but samaras and fortune as our front pairing? no thanks.i cant see any of the loan players signing permanently the only one that i see possible is nguemo but if the permiership comes calling its pretty unlikely that he will stay. i forgot about brown but it still means if he is injured or out of form we will play ki or zheng who are good players but are not battlers like the rangers team or hartley and robson for instance. if mowbray goes out in the summer to get a good centre back i guess ill give him a chance but the club is going in the wrong direction atm. celtic underground twitter is saying peter grant could be off to southampton so maybe the other 2 might aswell in the summer? dont know how reliable they are though ( celtic underground)

Quality managers can use what they've got in the team to full potential in little time. Mowbray hasn't shown that. I've seen no improvement, compared to Strachan's Celtic. Mowbray doesn't know the basics of defense, he doesn't know his players well-of course our defense is pish now. Gordon Strachan knew the strengths and weaknesses of his team, so he set the team accordingly. McManus and Caldwell aren't world beaters, but Gordon could use them to their full potential, even exceed it at times. Mowbray is inferior to Strachan. If you're calling Strachan bad, we've went from bad to worse.

    Caldwell wasnt bad last season.

The key difference is that Strachen had hartley infront of them are we werent an all out attacking team. Mowbray made a big mistake thinking he could rely on them.

    and No.

I totally agree with you m8. John Collins i reckon would steady the ship. He is one determined guy, some guys may not like him and think his ego is massive. but let me say 1st and foremost he is a BOSS!! the players would know he is in charge and i think he could bring a winning mentality with him also. I know he aint everyone's cup of tea but if mowbray where to go, he looks like a guy who could steady the ship and get the best out of this squad.
