  1. yea i'd much prefer a manager who after losing took the line

"well its all over for me. I'm a massive failure. I'll go jump off a bridge now."

While its fine for the folks on here to * and moan and throw out gross generalizations which they label as solutions (My favorite being the oft repeated in depth plan of "Mowbray Out, Strachan Out, Sack the board, etc...."). His job is to improve his team. As long as he has that job he has a responsibility to keep cool take victories and defeats as they come, and persist

  2. :celt_2::celt_2:and persist is the operative phrase.keep going tony
    you will be proved right:shamrock:

What the * is the point in him even saying anything? Its obvious nae * gonnae be happy after we've just dropped a couple of points, although i think we were actually just as lucky as we were unlucky cos they could have beat us

  4. mm i take it from your tone your
not a tony fan? correct me if im wrong:52:

Sadly,it does seem that there's a general ineptitude on Mowbray's part with defensive structure.Given the size of Celtic and expectations on the park,at least domestically, losing four goals, home or away,is quite simply unacceptable. Can anyone say, hand on heart, that the Celtic defence is stronger post January window? We were bad before it but are we better off now? Hooiveld looks as though, given time, he will be OK. Rogne was supposed to be one for the future! But the omission of two players, still wondering if they should sign a green or a white hoop on the shirt as a fan hands them it,is hardly the bulwark required to go on a run that leads us to the title. In a nutshell,BTM got rid of the players who could have bedded new defenders in,the players who could have told the new faces what to expect from individual opponents etc.Hardly then have Mowbray's actions rang of organisation, strategy or the required train of structure involved to make our team hard to score against or beat.Pre-christmas every team in the land knew if they got into our final third there would be panic-nigh terror in our defence because of recent lapses at the time.THIS is what was crying out for attention during the January window.Note how the collapse of the Ramis deal was greeted with shrugs due to the manager's apparent success in dealing with matters at the other end of the field. Before christmas our strikers WERE misfiring but the main problem? I speak with hindsight because I have the luxury of doing so,but given Marc Fortune's upturn of late,I would have settled for a stronger defence and 1-0 results till May,with the same strike-force before the window, than what we have ultimately got.Good to look at middle to front, utter shambles at the back-STILL!! And more false dawns than Norway in winter.

  5. Put it this way,put Celtic and the Huns on even points in your head, standing start from now-13 games to go,think of the January window/Keano euphoria.Think of what's been happening at the back, given all this, even forgetting the point difference, are we all still as confident as 2 weeks ago? Even under these circumstances I'm afraid I would'nt bet on us.Half of the duty of the team has been sorely neglected.Mowbray is culpable,if it lasts past May? So,surely are the board.

  6. 3 first choice defenders missing!! Cant really blame Mowbray for that. We've been extremely unlucky with injuries in the defence since january.

To the mowbray out brigade, get a * grip! You's were on here hailing the team after beating Dunfermline and Hearts.

Here's another notion, Abderdeen played well and actually deserved something from this game! We've no right to expect a win up there,Aberdeen have always taken points of Celtic and Rangers both home and away.

  7. but 4-2 up 15mins to go we surely have the right to expect to win

  8. At last , about time there was a positive thread.
I know it's been a tough season but everyone has to stop all the negative bullshit!
Start getting behind your team folks.
    hail hail

  9. The manager still has my backing!

Yesterday was a great game. Aberdeen deserved their point. They have and will always take points of Celtic and Rangers.

Another thing I tOOk from the game was, we scored 4 goals, we're starting to take our chances. When was the last time Rangers lOOked like scoring 4 against us? Rangers won't attack that much home or away so if we can continue our scoring we'll beat them. They rely on us not scoring not on how many more they can score than us.

That may seem daft but that is what we have to lOOk at.

  10. My thoughts exactly :50:

  11. agree wit mollan09,our defence is prob the worst ever in celtic history.wouldnt you just love bobe in there the ball wouldnt be bouncin around like that waitin for an opposin player to hit it.really disapointed overall with the result.cany see the cream buns messing up today.also takin of the 2 strikers what was that all about, keep them on and go for another goal

  12. You keep saying it was one wobble, you're wrong the football was bad and getting worse for months, especially from January to May it wasn't one wobble, we threw away a 7 point lead for the second time in a season, that's a * of a lot of wobbles. Just because it was still mathematically possible up until the last day of the season doesn't make it one mistake. Just in case you didn't realise it, it's still mathematically possible that we can win the league this season, it's obviously a long shot but it's still possible.

  13. Ah FFS, here we go again....as far as i'm concerned there are still enough points to be had, yesterday was a massive let down...score 4 goals and don't win the game..* defending again!
What's TM supposed to say to the fans/press after such a collapse..2 goals up about 15mins to go..there's no defense/excuse for it..he's got to try pull a positive out the fire and in my opinion he's 100% correct...HIBS MIGHT BEAT RANGERS TODAY!!
I'd be happy with the draw but a Hibs win is good.....If we ain't winning this league i'd rather Hibs did!
I for one will never concede this title until it's impossible to collect enough points,i'll stay focused and POSITIVE!! in my belief that it's all there to play for yet.

  14. Yeah but that team just blew it and no more against a better Rangers team than this season. Why against a poorer Rangers team are we
    much worse off.

    its the same team mate

  15. The game was won at 4 2. It was braafheids fault for letting them back in the game. Mogga can't help the stupidity of him handling, I'm sure he doesn't coach him to handball. Braafheid let the teaam down and shouldn't be excused because he's from bayern munich. The teams brilliant goiing forward its just them clowns at the back.

  16. But surely if the arguement is TM is to be given time to settle in, so should new players like Braffheid who has played 2 games? Mjallby, Petrov and Petrov were'nt as effective their first seasons as they had to get used to the game here. The ones that seem to hit the ground running played here or in England like Sutton,Thompson,Hartson,Robson etc

  17. :rofl::50:

  18. Whats he supposed to say someone asked? Well he could show a bit more passion in being the celtic manager for a start. He could've questioned how Maclean didn't get a second booking for the 2 bookable offenses at the goal (top off, celebrating with fans) The fact is, he looked a beaten man yesterday, i hope he can salvage some pride in his work until the end of the season, but i doubt he will. He is a likeable guy, but personally i think the job is too much for him. I said from day one he wasn't a winner, and i think thats his problem.
