    And i believe we will win trophies if we get him. Im excited. I hope he comes. Big name or not, he plays good football and will win things here.

    And i think he could do well in Europe as well.

    I dearly wish that they would surprise us bigtime just for once and bring in someone like the special one :icon_mrgreen: I'm fed up with mediocrity...........it's always a policy of signing someone who's just about good enough to do the job in the spl but might not quite cut it in the EPL :rolleyes:

    WBA had no cash whatsoever, Mowbray was not allowed to buy players much like our board wont release cash. Minus 'celtic' Mowbray has a much better CV than Strach.

    Ha fair play i read it wrong! But the premiership compared to now is a far better league than then, best in the world they say, with more money being spent and the wba chairman gave him no money to really strengthen his squad, so i see it as practically the same situation as when strachan was at coventry.

    the way i see it mate the epl is overrated big time? why ? if it wasnt for sky tv`s cash would that league have the players they have now? and would the league be at the level it is now?

    im a little surprised at that mate tbh? i never knew that.

    Your right mate, sky made it all about big money then these multi billionaires came and made it even more about power spending and getting all the best players, thats why i feel mogga didnt have a chance without any backing and strachan was the same back in the day no money to strengthen and poor players on the field!

    aim all you want but whats the point if its not gonna happen

    like you said we SHOULD be but we're not as attractive as about 90% of EPL sides especially now as champions league isnt guarenteed

    Remember you said that. If he comes you will eat your words.

    People dont go to games to see the manager, they go for the football. If the football is good, as it would be with Mowbray, people will keep coming in droves.

    Martin O'Neill was hardly a massive name when he came to us. Some people are so deluded. We're not as big and attractive as you think. We're just "one of the old firm" in a pishy league who isnt even guarenteed champions league football next year. Of course we all know this is the best club in the world but try tellin Guus Hiddink that lol

    You can slag him for his modest CV up to this point but you can't laugh at the fact his style of play WILL fill Parkhead, there's very little doubt about that.
