As a said above and as u'll clearly know yourself Man U are in a transitional period. New manager and new players. There obviously going to start building again.

Or a lack of new players, more like.

Mata and Fellaini. Not a lot of signings.

They're * and I can't see that changing, even after summer. Most players would probably rather go to Chelsea or Man City if they go to England. I'd imagine Bayern Munich are more of an attraction now as well.

Was class again tonight. Some of his passes made Arsenal look stupid at times chasing around the ball. Mad to think how much competition there is in Bayern's midfield just now with Kroos, Martinez, Thiago, Gotze, Shaqiri, Muller and obviously Schweinsteiger. Would be interesting to see if they came up against one of the better teams in Europe at the minute Barcelona, Real or PSG.

No guarantees, season of two without champions league will see their appeal fall massively.

Agent moyes will see to their downfall with a couple more signings similar to spunking £27 million on Fellaini :56::56:

Kompany at them alongside a ball-playing CB would be glorious.

He should stay where he is. He's playing very well in the midfield of a team which looks like it will dominate in German and European football for years to come. He could win countless trophies/medals whilst earning quite handsomely. You'd have to be mad to want a move away from that.

Would like to see Bayern play Real in the quarters. Could see that being the match of the tournament.

The boy said he was to good for Man U the comment came across to me as if he meant United just weren't a good enough club. Nothing to do with how the football currently on the pitch is. A thought he meant there a * club altogether. There clearly a very decent well run club, and one of the biggest in the world.

Well we can only speculate on how many or the quality of players they get in. A would be surprised if they don't spend 100 million in the summer. Some of which will come from the sale of players. Rooney and Van Persie missed a lot this season if both we're fit they wouldn't be sitting 7th

He had more passes alone than Arsenals entire team combined. Ridiculous.

The biggest problem United are going to have next season, is attracting the players required in my opinion. Champions League football is pretty much gone now, and EL is guaranteed either. Moyes struggled to bring in the players he wanted at the start of the season when the pull of CL football was there, so I just don't see how he is going to get the players he wants in come the summer if I'm honest. On top of this, are the likes of Rooney & Van Persie going to want to stay at a club who aren't playing in Europe's elite competition.

This might sound dramatic, but in my opinion, I think this is the start of a massive fall from grace for Man Utd. I can see them going through a similar period that Liverpool have gone through.

I meant in footballing terms - the men on the park.

He deserves to play in a better team than that.

Hope he stays at Bayern, there isn't a better team in world football right now.

Superb goal last night, controls the play and passes it so well.... one can only hope that he doesn't end up at the sinking ship known as Manchester United.

He's right in a way. He's not too good for the club but he's far, far too good for that side.

Haha typical epl arrogance. The guy starts on what is not just the best team in the world at the moment but also one that plays attractive football and is loaded financially. I mean why would he want to stay for all that:56:

Him and Muller are both pretty complete players, similar to Schweinsteiger when he was younger. Even though Muller plays forward type positions he could probably play centre-mid as well.

Germany always seem to produce solid allrounders, Gotze is one too. Beckenbauer, the first real centre-back who could and did play like a midfielder, Kohler, Sammer, Hummels, Lahm, Breitner, Matthaus, Netzer, Bonhof, Hoeness, Overath, Hassler, Schweinsteiger, Ballack, Moller, Rummenigge, Seeler... even keepers Maier, Schumacher, Kopke, Illgner, Kahn, Neuer. By far Europes best football team.
