    With Johnston out for a while, I wouldn't be against trying Iwata out at right back throughout pre-season.

    On paper, he has the tools to play there...

    Mentioned wanting him played there in our dead rubber games at the end of last season..

    Think he's nailed on for the position now that Johnston and Ralston are injured. I think he'd be quality there and could turn out a better option than Tony long term there. Just a feeling..

    He played as a right wing back for Oita Trinita once and did alright. I do think he needs a defined role rather than being shuffled about the place. Nows the perfect time to try.

    His position is centre mid, he’s a poor out and out defender proven by the fact that big farmer up front for St Midden ragdolled him at Parkhead.

    Can only see him being touted for right back purely because AJ is out, will never play there for any other reason than a proper emergency and it would probably only be detrimental to his chances of making it here - he needs games in his own position.

    6/10 performance.

    I don't think we'll be seeing him at right back too much. Didn't look that natural there and barely got forward. Funny thing is when he did go on a rare run he picked out Maeda for his goal.

    I'm still unconvinced by Iwata. Just seems bang average to me. Doesn't really impose himself on games and isn't really that technical either.

    The exact point being that he got POTY playing as a midfielder and thats why we bought him.

    Funny thing is that Maeda was bought as a striker and seems to have found his position on the left wing
