Early doors but style wise he looks to be the first player we've signed for that position who could ably replicate what McGregor offers.

Really? At no point, even on his debut, did Ideguchi ever look at home as a 6. And never looked like doing enough in attack to play further up the pitch.

 

His movement for me was a standout.

always looking for space, wanting the ball. Love to see that in the centre mid.

 

A really encouraging trait. New country on other side of the world, cultural and language barriers and coming into a winning team. Shows real strength of character to come into that environment and try and assert your personality on the team.
