    How could it be true? Their first game is 24th, SC Final is 25th. Was our offer to fly back, but not feature in the game? Or fly back and be featured? We played Efe 2 days after the African Cup of Nations vs Juve and it was a disaster, as Lennon will fully remember. These 2 games are less than 24 hours apart. (Rhetorical questions because I know the claim came from Keevins and not from you lol)

    He’s basically saying this agreement was with the USA federation that he missed that game, the player himself turned that down so Lennon and the club thought it best he go and concentrate on the USA.

    Makes slightly more sense, but still not the best for Celtic, Weah or USA tbh. He'd fly out with them to Poland when they arrive in just over a week's time, train with them a few days, fly back, train with us & maybe feature in SC Final, miss their first group game, fly back out and re-join them 24 hours before their 2nd game. Bad all around, be mad to do that imo.
