This week was a baptism of fire and we've come through it with full marks.
The defense is still terrible and Lenny is still suspect, but we look like we might have stopped the rot.
No small thanks to our player of the season - Stokes, as well as Hooper rediscovering his touch, Sammy getting the finger oot, Kayal looking like himself again, Rogne covering Madge's *, Forrest for driving us forward, Matthews for looking composed, and Wanyama for providing ideal cover for Ledley.
That's a good group who have stepped up to the plate.
The real fight starts now, however! If we win our game in hand its 9pts. That sounds a lot better than 12, and is something we can chip away at. It's still a real outside chance, but we must look at Nov 6 as the day when we made our push for the league.
Warpaint on chaps! Hail Hail :celt_2:

Lovely thought, but nothing about Celtics performance today inspired me with any confidence that lennon has figured out what he is doing.
Still needs to go. -
This result hasn't made him but I'm happy it never broke him.

The Great Green And White Resurrection continued with a big win today :50:

- I'm not picky.
I never managed to see the match (slept through my *' alarm :52:) but in times like this it's the results that are important.
Those manky * are scraping out results and it's what we've not been doing, but hopefully with the Rennes result and now this one we can kick on from it. Next few games will be the test because if we can string together some decent results, and hopefully performances, then it should be a different matter.
I remember during Martin O'Neill's time the amount of times we managed to grind out a result with winners in the last few mins of the match against the likes of Dundee etc. I'm not comparing manager for manager here - just the fashion of getting results when needed.
Today's result was much needed and we got it. For now I'm happy with that. -
Absolutely right. Days like today make me so glad that i have never lost faith in Lenny since the day of his appointment. Hail Hail

If we win every league game this month and next then I will feel confident. Until then I will take each result as a one off. Two wins in a row does not inspire me with confidence.

Every league game left of this calendar year are do or die, IMO.
1 down, 8 to go.
