The tactics and decisions at times have been very poor. There's absolutely no fight or desire in this team either, we used to see celtic pushing till the final whistle and get last minute winners, you can't see us doing that now.

Bear in mind that every * was on here singing & dancing about signing him. There was no concern about heading into this game with our current squad as we were "certs to win", apparently.

Has our current manager taken us forward?
Has our current manager lived up to his expectations?
Have our defence been up to standards?

Well there was no Ronnie Roar tonight, there certain weren't any sign of good sound tactics either. I really have to question if we will ever progress in Europe under Deila, he does appear to be very naive, just look at last weeks first leg, he couldn't close the game down, Izzy and Ambrose still in the opponents half in the first minute of extra time, shocking !!!

It must be said, he got it totally wrong tonight.

He'll get a year to save his Celtic career.

    * off with the 3. But he will be judged this year. If he fails to progress a bit beyond the group stages then it's the axe for him sadly.

I think it's fair enough to say this won't stand Ronny in good stead. Champions league in reality is make or break for us, that 20 million is massive for a team like ourselves. will he get his books for it? Nah. Everyone wants Deila to succeed but I think if he gets a poor run this season his contract won't be renewed.

Here's hoping for the treble! :50:

Definitely. He'll win the league, but my gran could do that as celtic manager.

I've never been had that much confidence in him.

If he doesn't qualify next year, he should be out on his *. Depending on how league performances go and our run in the Europa League, it could be earlier.

And replace him with who? No he is our best option,if he can a long run in the Europa League we might get a bit of belief back.
I am beyond * off,i may be deluded but lets win the Europa League!

There is something in that, as the player stats show that Malmo look to have been the fitter team again and they played on Sunday, while half our team was rested as well.

You honestly think Deila has no questions to answer and it's all someone elses fault?

As I've said in another thread, Malmo, Maribor and Legia all have lesser budgets than us yet we've been beaten by all 3 in the space of a year.

What happened to our much lauded fitness regime? Malmo looked sharper towards the end in both games and most of our guys had a weekend off!

Why are we signing so many SPFL players if our assistant manager doesn't rate the competition?

Are we satisfied with the progress we have made in the past 12 months under Deila?

Would we consider looking elsewhere if we get put out of the Europa early? What is the minimum requirement for this season?

We have now been put out of the CL qualification 3 times by teams with smaller budgets than us - what is the reasoning behind this.

I could go on and on.....the sooner people address these questions rather than adopt the head-in-sand approach, the sooner we will progress as a team.

I know the board have been * us about but surely with what we've spent we should be better than Malmo?

This. We are a Europa League level team. Scottish football is *, penniless and will not progress. Some people need to just accept we are where we are.
