even listening to him in the interview on bt before the game I was shaking my head, hes just not got it

he was brought in as a yes man, cheapest option to work with the bare minimum and accept it, but our bare minimum was still more than what Malmo have

that malmo manager showed him up in the mind game department and tactically

He admitted it himself tonight on Irish tv. The board selling Wilson, Wanyama, Hooper, et al. Inexcusable.

Saying that I think we were prepared tonight - financially we're much better off than Malmo. And we showed at CP that we are better than them.

Failed on setplays and looked short of fitness. And luck.

I don't get the 4-2-3-1 system with zonal marking! The Forrest substitution was * weird one man he wass arguably our best player.

Smaller sides beat sides with bigger budgets all the time though, it doesn't mean that the manager should automatically go.

We lost the game, we played badly. You'd think we'd been eliminated by Stjarnan at the first hurdle the way some people are reacting.

"Should the manager go?" is a legitimate question to be asked after a result like that. It's as good a time as any for a thread like this. These are the games a Celtic manager should be judged on.
I don't think it is very productive to accuse or abuse the OP for opening a valid discussion.

What exactly is happening though, his assistant publicly slates Scottish football then we go sign a trio from Dundee utd and a player from hibs, flawed logic.

    Do they not speak??

The board has * us again, going into a 20m game and having to pitch in a 19 year old at rb and a * mulgrew at lb, we were shocking.

And now the wave continues, Virgil goes and a cheaper option brought in, surely we should strengthen and have them bedded in before these games not close our eyes and hope to make it then strengthen once we are there.

    I'm disgusted.

It's not absurd to say, but for me another year, I think everything needs to go towards a treble.

Us missing out on the CL the past couple of years could be the deciding factor in us failing to do the ten. That money could very well have put us out of sight for the coming years.
