The size of that queue was unbelievable.

i queued in that ticket office queue and thought it was ridiculous

a paid for ticket sitting in the ticket office while i waited 1 hour for my ticket

was handled poorly allround by the club

wouldn't it have been easier collecting your ticket at the turnstyle ffs, if that was the case there wouldn't have been any queues

£30 for 45 minutes of worse than sunday league football, no belief, slow slow slow passing

How can you collect your ticket at the turnstyle? This isn't done.

Dont see how any of this is Celtic's fault. Maybe a little bit of prior preperation would have benefitted more.

Well, yeah you should. I have qued up for hours gettin CL league tikcets at 2 in teh afternoon. Queue's are expected at pretty much any major football ground. If iwas collectin my ticket I would have went up at 5.30ish incase there was a queue a mile long so that you there in time for the game. If you get in no bother, go for a pint, coffee whatever you fancy.
Can't blame Celtic for people turnin up at 7 and expecting nobody to be there.
As they used to say at H/T "use the heid, beat the stampede"

Ah, got it. I'll make sure I turn up for work 2 hours before I start just in case there is an accident on the road. While i'm at it, better go down the pub a couple of hours before it opens to ensure I can get in before it fills :50:

I think you're missing the point here. I didn't turn up at 7:30 and expect to get my ticket right away and get to my seat in time for kick off. I got there at the back of 7 which left a near full 45 mins to queue and get seated. Queuing for 30 mins would of been acceptable and was somewhat anticipated. Queuing for over an hour was not expected nor acceptable.

I swear some of you must work for Celtic FC or something.

I think everyone is clear when you turned up. IMO that was also cutting it very neat and that would be for a normal game never mind a cl qualifier. Going to work early or th pub as you cite is hardly comparable.

Its a shame you missed some of the game but its the reality of goings on at a major football ground.

Sure, i'll agree arriving 10-15 mins earlier would of been preferrable but the point of this post is primarily about the length of a queue to collect prepaid tickets and the system in place to handle it. Having a ticket office with 10 people handling well over 1,000 people is crazy.

I think they need to look into something like they do at the cinema. You buy online or over the phone and then you simply pop your card into a machine to get your tickets. Sure, there will still be queues at these machines but I imagine it would be a lot quicker than the current system.

Why didn't you buy the tickets earlier in the month?
You're advised to be in your seat 60mins prior to kick off, you failed to listen to that advice. why?

Because it was a late decision to go. Mind showing me where it says that?

    Cheers

understanable you were upset. blaming celtic wont make it better. they will blame you for turning up at the time you did. to be honest if yourself and all the other like minded people had decided to get your tickets a week earlier instead of waiting to see if the game was on the tv then there would not have been this problem. q's are q's !

Like i said before i had mine in hand about 20 mins before you ....They had not only the ticket office but they opened the corporate office open too so i believe they were doing everything possible ..If there are no more computer terminals available what is the point in extra staff ??? ..
The ticket purchase when done online or over the phone gets redirected to Ticketmaster so you dont deal direct with the ground which i thin is wrong , they are making £1.50 on each ticket as i see it !!!
