    Nothing has changed.

Its clear to me that we need an experienced manager to sort out this problem.

I'm not going to berate Lennon though, the failure today and for the most part of this season has been the players and their attitudes. 1 manager sacked and the interim one will not be considered because of how * they are.

I'd like for Lennon to go take up another job, given the time to show what he can do. The time is not right for him, I think he now knows it too.

exactly.that shower of * should be fukin ashamed of themselves.they have embarrassed our club for the last time i hope....get the lot of them to *.and lennon would be the man who would get shot of the wasters in the team.from his interview you know he wouldn't sign players who aren't prepared to burst there * for the team and thats exactly what we need

I'm still for Neil Lennon, the passion and words he said after the game were true and harshly honest. He realizes that the current squad is rubbish. Also I dont think the board will have the stones to go out and spend money on a high profile manager.

After listening to him in his post match interview, I would give him the job, allow him to get rid of the non triers and let him bring in players who will go through * to play for the hoops. He recognises that the squad are not Celtic class and he should be given the opportunity to do something about it. Some of the alternatives being spoken about would only come to Celtic as a stepping stone to go on somewhere else, Mark Hughes would not even be guaranteed to stay for a full season if a Premiership job was waved under his nose. We need stability and a long term passion for the job Give it to Lennon, starting now, on a permanent basis

Short memory syndrome. Barnes lost to ICT, Oneill lost to ICT and Strachan lost to CLyde all in this very competition.

It most definatly wont shut me up, granted it was a really bad loss but thats not down to lennon, that team on the park should be riding these teams 5 or 6-0 and thats no disrespect to ross county because they certainly did deserve that win..i honestly dont care who the manager is, its the * team that needs cleared out not the manager who ever he may be, im not really bothered if Neil is manager next season, if he is fantastic. if not then so be it, means he can get a bit more experience before taking the job in in the future if he wants.

going by his words in post match interview and infront of the fans last night then one thing is for sure, he certainly has the heart and passion to do well which has been sorely lacking in players and TM.

Lennon to his credit has came out of this well ,not many people would have said what he said after the game yesterday and this is a guy who is looking for the job .

Basically the Major Surgery comment has put pressure right away on the board to spend and will they love Lennon for saying that ,i think not, He is a fan who wants the same as us and he was disgusted yesterday in what he seen ,wether he gets the job remains to be seen but my point is ,fair play to him for standing his ground and maybe he might just have talked his way out of the job for what he said in his statement ,so good on him.

Lennon has been put in charge of a team who have struggled to win three games in a row all season... he has had barely 3 weeks to overhaul the desire, motivation, tactics etc. Still don't think Lennon is to blame, I don't know what people expect with the same squad that lost to St Mirren et al. You could have brought in any one of your top class managers mentioned previously when Mowbray went, there is no way the turn around in quality would have taken place in time for us to ever call this season a success.

Like thebhoymalone said we need to take on people with potential, that is the standard of Scottish Football and, by association, our football club. Lennon, for me, is someone with potential.

What I also think people should remember is that success elsewhere does not necessarily translate to success in Scottish football. It's a different entity altogether. We need someone who knows what it takes to win in our particular predicament.

How can any manager take over a team who's morale is as low as it can possibly go and make there morale sky rocket within a matter of weeks!
We shouldn't lose to Ross County if we played them every day for a year but in this exceptional circumstances i bet almost all the celtic fans half expected yesterdays result! The team never showed up at all, they were over played, over fought, and out hearted by a team our reserves should be able to destroy.

I for one am all for Lennon staying on IF he proves that he can win a high percentage of the remaining games, I don't think the team did him any favours yesterday and i think that all the team should be docked a days wages for saturday as they never turned up!

Celtic fans now a days, no more are we faithful through and through we say one thing while sticking the dagger in at every opertunity! Makes you wonder! As i've said before BEST SUPPORTERS IN THE WORLD! next joke mate

I think people expected with the squad that lost to St Mirren , and then beat Kilmarnock and Hibs (while showing passion it has to be remembered) that they would then go and beat Ross County...

This season was never going to be a success after the state TM left us in but surely the moment Neil Lennon took over and started getting praise , was the moment he was being judged as a potential manager.. I think that's fair that he is judged for the rough and the smooth.. Im sure he accepts blame for his players failing to win the game because , like me , his expectations were to win the game..
If there's some people who didn't have any expectations of beating Ross County then I'd understand why they feel that Lennon is blameless , but Lennon was in a position to affect the outcome , he could have had Fortune or Samaras playing much closer to Keane to try and form a partnership or he could have played Rasmussen as a target man with Keane playing off him as two examples of things he didn't do..

It seemed like Neil Lennon was taking advice from John Park at times yesterday. Is John Park not just a scout? I found it strange that Neily was taking advice from him :43:

I think if the only thing that was wrong yesterday was the striking partnership we should still have walked it against Ross County. Lennon can influence the game, can make substitutions etc. but he played a £3.8 million striker alongside one who now has a couple of years experience in the SPL over someone who has made a couple of cameo appearances. When broken down like that I find it is hard to argue with the selection.

At the end of the day we should be able to put out our second string and beat Ross County, I expect nothing less, but the problems with our club at the moment run deeper than striker selection. It is going to take whoever gets the job a lot of hard work to fix the problems faced and the names currently being touted do not excite me any more than that of Neil Lennon.

Lennon to stay on...* unbelievable:38:...he failed today...stop making excuses, he * failed to motivate the team...this is pathetic....!..unbelievable........lennon must go!

and another thing....there is no way any celtic team should be losing to Ross County...these are proffessional players, they were * today...but lennon was in charge...and he obviously failed in his job...and failed miserably...so start seeing sense...lennon failed yesterday....and goes into the history books with one of the most shocking results in our history....and if he stays on...it will be all you lennon men who will be cursing him in your posts when he fails..which he will!...the same way many of you cursed mobray! after claiming he would work wonders in advance..........so get real!...you are the real part time fans and glory hunters....with your heads in the * sand!

Got to say I am a huge Lennon fan and will remain so. I still think he could be the man for the job, I am unconvinced and uninspired by any of the other option people are suggesting. I love Lennon's honesty and respect, yes I know that those things don't make a manager alone but its a start.

I'd love Lenny to be a success as manager with us, but he admitted himself yesterday that he couldn't do the job.

"People talk about Tony not instilling passion in the team. Those are things you can't give the players.
"You can get them motivated and they'll pull the wool over your eyes.
"There was only one team out there who wanted to win today, and that was Ross County.
"I'd like to congratulate them - they deserved it."
