    The only time mine lags is when I'm downloading something online and I play my ps3 with my pc still on

    xbox 360 is more popular. games are better(better and more exclusives). better DLC for games. games such as cod 4 are much more intense on the 360 than the ps3. the ps3 controller is really * compared to the 360, feels sharp and loose and your hands get tired faster. servers are really laggy for the ps3, its such a pain. market place is quite annoying and takes longer to use for the ps3. graphics are much better on the 360, especially noticeable with an HD tv.

    but to be fair, the 360 has technical problems such as the red ring of death but my house has had 3 xbox 360s and none have had it before. also xbox live costs £20-25 (dont pay the £40, use ebay and buy a code)

    but the 360 is much cheaper.

    360 all the way from someone who has had both.

    I've got a PS3 and I've never experienced any lag. If you get a PS3, try buy blu-ray dvd's and get an HDMI cable. I swear to *, you'll cream yourself when you see these bad boys in action.

    PS3>>Xbox IMO.

    my cuz got a flat screen TV and a HDMI cable, looks absolutely amazing, and as for saying the xbox has better graphics, play Metal Gear Solid 4 for the PS3. That'll change yer mind pal, imo.

    Defecting to the PS3 Hadden shocking :38: lol nah i thought about as well when i got the red ring of death, said to myself i might just get a ps3 but decided against it when i thought i will hardly get any money for my xbox plus ive got like 30 games for it the now which i payed 40 quid or more for each one.

    I personally have played the PS3, a few times and i think the graphics are capable of better than the 360 and the Blu Ray is meant to be * immense for films

    However Xbox live kills PS3 online and although you pay for its much better :50:

    If this xbox goes this time though i might consider getting one myself

    aye thats what i wanted one for the Blu Ray aspect sounds amazing :50: Any of you guys know how much i'd get if i traded in my 360 ?

    Yes, the PS3 is capable of better graphics but it´s very hard to program games for it = games for the xbox sometimes look better than the ps3 version.

    The Xbox360 also has the advantage that it was released earlier meaning the studios/developers are used to programming games for the xbox and port xbox games to ps3 (like back then PS2 to xbox meaning ps2 versions looked better than the xbox ones).

    it´s a fact...

    I also wanted the PS3 but didn´t get it. blue ray movies still too expensive and how long will they exist? I heard that there will be a new format very soon...

    I´d recommend the PS3 only if you want to play the games exclusive to the PS3 and/or want more than just gaming

    Gaming XBOX360 > PS3
    Multimedia PS3 > XBOX360

    I've had both and personally I feel the PS3 is better all-round. Gaming and otherwise.

    Also, as for online features, I find the PS3 has a far better layout.

    If by trading in you mean GAME or gamestation then not much but you should get a decent bit if you stick it on ebay with all the games

    if your wanting a ps3 just for a change then next time you take a dump just play with that afterwards it will equal the enjoyment you would get from a ps3:icon_mrgreen::86:

    Whats the difference between ps3 & xbox, in enjoyment terms then?

    i take it you havnt played ps3 either, you just have an xbox so that makes it better than ps3, aye.

    Only thing i prefer about the xbox is the controller, especially the triggers, everything else ps3 is better really


    BUT


    You can get an xbox360 chipped, butcan't get the ps3 chipped yet.

    Tbh, the stats/specs say it all, the PS3 is better than the Xbox.

    As for the games, that's all subjective, but there is not contest in the actual machines.

    calm down lads it was only a joke !! I have both consoles and think the best console to get is the one your friends have as its much better banter playing with your pals than playing with randoms

    I'm an xbox man but will have to admit the Xbox and PS3 are 400 times better than that piece of * the Wii. Got a lone of it off a pal for 4 weeks, played it for a few days and gave him it back it was that *
