I wouldn't mind so much seeing Cena cheat to win, as it would be better for the company in the long run. The Rock winning would please a whole lot of people obviously, but if you're looking at it from a long term point of view, there's nothing else really there. Anyone who really thinks The Rock will stick around after WrestleMania next year and continue to wrestle regularly are deluded. He's an actor now, not a wrestler and there are still a lot of wrestling fans who can't get their heads around that particular fact.

Cena's going to be wrestling for WWE for a long time yet, that much is apparent. He is the face of the company and when you look at guys like Sting, who is still going strong well into his 50's, I don't think it would be too unrealistic to say that Cena will still be in WWE for another 10-15 years. Just imagine for a second what it would be like if we had to put up with Cena in his current persona for that amount of time. It's already bad enough and it's only been a few years.

Yeah agree it makes sense that cena wins, still sucks though but if he turns heel then it could be worth it.

 

Cena is 34 right now, so I'd definitely say he has at least another ten years in him. He'll probably be performing well into his 50's (although he may have moved on from the big leagues by that time).

 

cenas a * and getting crowned(yet again) the micky mouse champion is a joke tbh.punks the champion and the thought of a bullshit unification match is pathetic. they could have done this scenario waaay better than yet again cena getting the attention once more.very disapointed in the outcome since the ppv there

 

John Cena has to beat The Rock at WrestleMania, i'm not a Cena fan, believe me I nearly always cheer for his opponent, but if Rock wins at WM28, it just squashes this whole past era, and also shows how arrogant Rock is by not putting over someone like Cena.

If Cena wins, which he should, he could finally be realised (if he isn't already), as one of the greatest of all time. For me it just feels wrong to have Rock win.

Also like someone before me said, what's in it for The Rock? He gains nothing by beating Cena at WrestleMania. He'll probably only show up once a year or something after WM28.

Also the Alberto Del Rio thing, I heard they want him to be WWE Champion in time for their first ever TV tapings in Mexico. (October I think).

 

The Rock should only win if he agrees to hang around after for a month or two (or longer). Y'know, if creative want to cement his legacy with the newer fans and have him quash the top guys. Inevitably, they'd need someone to step up before he leaves, but I don't know even know why I'm typing this because there's next to no chance of him sticking with the WWE for a long duration again and Cena almost always wins.

Yeah mate. Sandman/Dreamer is the feud that defines the original ECW for me and many other folk. Some of the matches they had were just brutal.

I don't think a lot of people realise just how influential the ECW was on the attitude/nitro era.
