Agree with Shane. They dont have the quality to have two brands anymore. They should bring back a good tag division and a competitive cruiser-weight division. At the moment they have about 5/6 Heavyweight title contenders, 15 young wrestlers who they are trying too push as serious heavyweight title contenders and the rest are average wrestlers that will either enter the second category for a month before going back to house shows or not even reaching the second category.

It was one of the most disappointing Raw shows in recent memory. I hate to say it, but I think they're kinda losing steam after putting so much effort into Money In The Bank. The very same thing happened after WrestleMania, as they done so much to make it a great event.

If Punk hadn't come out and saved the entire show at the last minute, I would have ranked it up there as one of the worst Raws of the year. Can't stand the fact that Cena is now an 11 time champion and most of these reigns have come in the last 4-5 years. Talk about hogging the * spotlight.

I hope things pick up again next week, to make up for last night's disappointment. A HHH/Punk live confrontation would be nice, along with Punk bringing in his own WWE Championship (new design). He said he was going to get rid of the spinner belt when he won the title.

I know it wasn't the best Raw ever, but saying it was almost one of the worst shows of the year is a tad harsh. Mysterio and Miz put on a great match, JR came back, Zack Ryder, who everyone loves apparantley, had a match, and Cena and Mystero put on a great match at the end, regardless of the result. And this was all before CM Punk came out.

It's all a matter of opinion. The wrestling was good from start to finish (minus the Ryder/Cole match obviously), but Cena winning the title at the end overshadowed everything for me. I'm sick and tired of seeing this guy get continually shoved down everyone's throats. His last title reign only ended last week and now he has another one. I mean, seriously? This does nothing for his credibility, considering it's only kids who cheer for him because they think he is a superhero and women who cheer for him because he has big muscles and good looks.

If you put Cena in an arena full of men in the 18-35 demographic, he'll get booed out of the building. This has been shown at One Night Stand 2006 and more recently, Money In The Bank 2011 in Chicago. He badly needs a character refreshment and yet, WWE Creative can't seem to get that through their thick skulls.

One Night Stand was hilarious, I laughed so hard when they booed Cena.

For me the most disappointing aspect of the last decade of WWE/TNA/wrestling has been that some great wrestlers never got a decent title run. Several individuals came out of ECW/WCW invasion and never got a decent stretch, and when they had no competition the WWE got lazy.

CM Punk was amazing in ROH years ago. They should have given Loki a better stretch and Samoa Joe is being wasted at TNA, they should get him in too.

Aye ok, it is a matter of opinion, I just thought that it was a wrestling show and the wrestling was a good standard, and overall I just thought it was a solid programme.

I'm not sure where I stand on Cena. I agree definitely that the title is losing its credibility. Reigns should mean something and be respectable. 90 minute reigns should not be happening, and, as you said, reigns should not be so close together. However I think Cena gets far too much abuse. I think people boo him because it's cool to boo him. People may not like him and it's fair enough, but he is still one of the best in the business. His promos, while some can be awkward to listen to, are generally very well done, and those who say he can't wrestle are sadly mistaken. He does appeal to the women and children, but what's wrong with that? WWE are smart, they know that children will make up a large proportion of the audience. And what kind of heel would Cena be? If he does eventually turn heel, I hope that he isn't put into the stereotypical 'I'm the best' gimmick. It would make sense to return to his previous heel gimmick which is the rapper, but is that main event material? Personally I can't see Cena turning any time soon.

He was main eventing against the likes of Kurt Angle and The Undertaker back in 2002 and 2003 when he was the rapper, so I don't see why it wouldn't work now. I agree though, I don't think he will turn any time soon. If he does, it will be in 2012, during the build up to his match with The Rock at Mania. He is undoubtedly going to get a heel reaction when he walks out in Miami, so it would make sense to capitalize on that. People will still buy his merchandise, although it may be less than they are making off of him currently as a face.

I wasn't too disappointed with Raw last night, two title matches, JR and Morrison returning and Punk at the end. The winners in the title matches may not have been to most peoples liking but the hype was there throughout the night.

The crowds seem more up for the shows over the past month or so.

Punk has been carrying Raw lately. That's just my opinion obviously, but without him, it would be the same as it always is. He is the talk of the entire wrestling world, not just the "WWE Universe".

Ah sorry, I didn't know that. I phased out of wrestling for a while, and at that point, Cena was fueding with the likes of Billy Kidman, but fair enough.
Yeah, it's gonna be similar to the Hulk Hogan/Rock scenario. The Rock could play the heel all he wants and still get 99.9% of fans cheering his name. It's an awkward situation for WWE cause it's obvious that he isn't getting the No.1 Face reaction that WWE wants.

Yeah mate, he main evented Vengeance 2003 (which was eight years tomorrow actually) against The Undertaker and I'm sure his very first feud in WWE was against Kurt Angle. He made his debut on SmackDown, during a segment where Kurt issued an open challenge to anyone in the locker room. Cena came out and * near beat Angle, who at that time was still an established and respected professional wrestler.

Those were back in the days when Cena was over with the entire crowd and not just the kids. It's safe to say that this momentum was killed a long time ago, probably starting in 2005, when Cena won his first WWE Championship.

Just seen RAW , it really really sucked.
Making cena the champion again is an absolute farce imo, as soon as HHH made that match we all knew the outcome.
Punk returning was the only stand out moment for me.

    Quicker Y2J returns the better.

Lighten up man, it wasn't that bad. There were far more embarrassing things that happened in the Attitude Era that just get glossed over, purely because at that time, wrestling was untouchable in the eyes of many fans around the world.

Triple H pretending to have * with a mannequin inside a coffin and Mae Young giving birth to a hand were far more cringeworthy than Cole's stunt last night.

I assume he'll be back when he's finished touring with his band, Fozzy. I think their tour is due to end either later this year or early 2012, not too sure though mate. I can't wait to see him back either.
