McGregor must be worth £80 mil if that’s the value on him, a player with basically 1 good year in a team not promoted from the championship with sheff utd

Casemiro linked to Man Utd for £60m.

Even though he’s still capable at 30 it could be a shrewd move by Madrid. They’ve got Valverde, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Kroos and Modric still there.

60 mill on a 30 year old. United deserve all they get.

Possibly the best player in his position in the world and United's problem position. Seems very smart, he might only play for three years but the average United manager is only lasting one so that's not really a problem for Ten Haag

Don’t understand Forest’s strategy. Has any newly promoted team that’s went mental and spent loads ever actually done anything?

I dont mind Forest actually. A team with some nice history and i do understand them. They fluked their way to the EPL (some luck atleast) and now they are doing what they need to do to not have to wait another 22 years.

If they get relegated anyway after spending crazy, they are in deep, deep trouble.

I do prefer them to a lot of other English teams, definitely. Good historical team and I like their older kits :giggle1:. But if they just go down the route of throwing money at anything and everything then they just become the same as every one else.

They look to be going down the route of fling as much * as we can and hope most of it sticks when signing players. They are signing a lot at significantly overvalue. This guy from Wolves is bang average and Lingard on 100-150k a week as well.

They may well stay up because of the feel good factor but I’d definitely have them faltering with second season syndrome.

These English * really are fkn nuts.

And so are the club bosses up here, time to start demanding mega money for players now, fkn Sheff Utd loan player last year bought for more than Tierney and VVD combined, time to stop.

Even guys from Hearts, Hibs etc , time to start saying you want Barry McKay, we'll have £15m, you want JJ, £50m, even hun *, Kent £30m.

We really are just cheap prostitutes up here.

£58m… huge fee but he’s an absolute baller. Will do so well at Newcastle. Hate to admit it but Howe has got them playing extremely well. No idea why Man Utd wouldn’t be looking at that sort of deal. Young, fresh and quick. Presses well. Exactly the sort of player Ten Hag would like

Watched him v Barca the other night. Didn't look like he'd be worth anything like that.. Transfer fees are utter madness.

    Quality signing that.

Should see them comfortable in the top 8.

Last time I seen him was at the Euro’s but he looked a player then.

Him and Callum Wilson two decent striking options - Wilson not gonna stay fit the full length of the season so Isak should see plenty minutes.

Seen they were after Joao Pedro from Watford as well, always thought he was a striker as well but possibly more a wide forward.

Seen that Gakpo boy linked with Man Utd a lot recently and based on the games against the Huns there he’s nowhere near the required standard for Man Utd at the moment.

They’d be as well persevering with Sancho left and going all oot for Antony for the right.
