Short term fix as always...

 

Burnley won the champinship and he was voted the POTY, definitely not a bad signing infact it would be quite the opposite.

 

Good signing for them if true. Always had an impression he was leaning more towards our side though

 

is he no injury prone? He'd get a red card when he played us that's a certaintity- another hot heid ala diouf I reckon

 

Maybe he realises now that he hasn't got the legs to compete in the Premier League anymore. Maybe wants to play every week consistently and compete for trophies in his lay few years as a player

 

Think he'd be a very good signing for them, in the championship team of the year, on a free, good head for the younger kids. Actually a little bit jealous

He wasn't Burnley's POTY though Andre Gray and Sam Vokes were the reason for promotion the fans just got caught up in the hype
I'm not worried by them signing him tbh he's 36 and almost nailed on for an old firm red card

 

Barton will be a good signing for them. I think he's after a longer-term deal than he'd get at Burnley, and he's made it clear for years he'd love to play in an Old Firm match.

He's always said he prefers Celtic, but I don't think that will matter one bit.

I think he'd be a good signing for us here. We're crying out for a bit more experience and aggression in the side. Barton certainly brings that. I think his reputation has smeared peoples opinion on his footballing ability - he's a good player, too.

Will certainly make the games more interesting next year if they have Joey Barton and we have Scott Brown. And if Roy Keane becomes our manager...

 

Arsenal getting linked with Sturridge now. If that happens Wenger truly has lost the plot. Been in dire need of a top striker for years so let's sign some * to keep the physio busy :smiley-laughing002:

Won't lie, I would be a little gutted if zlatan moved to England. I mind he done an interview a few years ago, where someone asked if he felt he had to prove his worth by doing it in the epl. He replied with he has nothing to prove to any one and hinted he didn't want to play there. Would love for him to go down in history as snubbing that lot and still be talked about as one of the greats of our era.
