Erik really is something special. He is quick and at his best when running at defenders. Even in Brazil, where defences often sit deep he is able to out manoeuvre and out pace them.

He isn't a big guy so he wouldn't be that good as a back to goal striker we seem to keep looking for. He is also better cutting in, rather than being central.

Fener first went for Gabriel Barbosa of Santos. I think they got lucky having their bids for him rejected so they could go after Erik. Gabigol will be something special too but I think Erik is better.

Fernando Fernández of Club Guaraní is another serious goalscorer.

The amount of money Inter have spent there is mental.

All good enough players but are they really going to get them back towards where they once were? Probably not.

Should be enough for CL football again though. Surely.

Chelsea are a disgrace, 33 players out on loan.

In terms of how the main teams has done this window:

Arsenal - Shocker of a window. Only signed a goalie when they still need a striker and another centre half, and probably a big * of a defensive midfielder.

Chelsea - Could be doing with another centre half and striker but Pedro was a good signing by the look of it.

Man City - Fantastic window. Got another centre half which they need, a cracking midfielder and Sterling has potential to have a good career. He should improve with better players around him.

United - Terrible, almost as bad as Arsenal. They've put this young striker under immense pressure now because he has to have a great season or they will struggle. They didn't address their centre half problem and have too many midfielders who do the same job.

City are the only ones who have really improved and will most likely romp the league.

    Inter's team looks ace.

Aye, Chelsea are *. They must make easy £20m+ on loan fees. Just hoarding up the best young talent and pimping them out - easy money.

    *.

Ola John and Vydra to Reading.

For * sake. Both of them would walk into our team. Ola John would have been a brilliant signing, guy's rapid.

The manager needs his eyes testing if he cant see he needs defenders also who are the second choice RB and LB since he sold a few of them

We're trying to sign a defender right now :97:

    RB: Lustig, Janko
CB: Boyata, Ambrose, Blackett, Mulgrew, ???Simunovic???
    LB: Izzy, Blackett.

I know I've said blackett twice, but that's because he's comfortable in both positions.

A less than comforting mixture of injury prone players, gash players and untested players.

Said it last night but on the activity that's taken place today I've heard about near enough every English PL club bar Man City and possibly West Ham have had a shocking window I'd say
