    Charlie Austin moved into 1/2 tonight to join Man United. Think it's a relatively low risk signing for them, cheap, back-up to Rooney, and has a decent record of scoring goals in a poor QPR side last year.

    They don't need a back up striker, they need a striker to be the main man. Rooney isn't a lone striker. He's better off playing behind the striker.

    With the amount of chances created at Man Utd, I think Austin would score for fun. He's a great striker playing at the wrong club right now.

    That's pretty strange, but I've seen it happen a couple of times before. Brugge were probably offering a decent bit more than what Burnley actually paid for him and they've just thought might as well and let him go so they can maybe push the boat out for a more expensive striker.

    Also, if Brugge can sign him there's surely no reason why we can't.

    I mentioned him a couple days ago.

    He's good but that kind of money should buy you a finished player, a star, not a project.

    Can't even truly believe any club would play that kind of money for him at this point... but that's a BPL club, so I guess it's possible.

    Rony Lopes played a couple of games about 18 months ago or something for Man City, he must only have been 17 or 18 but I remember watching them and he looked great, wonder why they never used him since. He looked a similar style of player to Aguero or Tevez although played more in midfield than up front.

    Inter Milan get Alex Telles from Galatasaray on loan.

    Inter also close to Felipe Melo. If they get him Hernanes will go to Juventus.

    Alex Telles is a very good player to get. The Hernanes thing seems like a step down in quality for me.
