The Transfers/Transfer Rumours Thread

I have always felt this is the same as the Rooney, Bale ,Suarez saga all clubs say player not for sale but will have a fee in the mind that if a bid reaches that point the clubs will sell .

 

I don't support any other teams. I just don't like the attitude of the majority of United fans.

 

Aye I agree, Rooney is not for at any price If somebody came in with a £40m bid tomorrow he'd be off

I fail to understand how non-English people can support English teams, let alone Irish folk... especially those who already support Celtic.

Not that I'm accusing you of this, but England already has a big enough problem with gloryhunting (and fans supporting a team with no real understanding of their club's history or passion for said club) without people from elsewhere doing the same.

Case in point, Man U fans in the home counties, where I live, who have no connection to Manchester. Baffles me.

This will sound stupid lol.
But everyone in my area naturally supports Celtic (due to being a Irish club) and near all will have a English team as well.
It was when i was younger and started following football proper, Leeds appealed to me with alot of Irish players playing for them and then gradually started supporting them and have ever since.

 

Fair enough mate, a dont mean offence when a say you can't support Leeds in the same you can with Celtic. Its just impossible to fully support two clubs hole heartedly.

If Celtic and Leeds met in the Champions League final(could happen) you would have to pick one, meaning the other team isn't getting your getting backing. You can't pick a draw as then none of the teams are getting the real backing a true supporter should give his team.

The only other team I have love for is Man United, always want to see them win and feel genuinly gutted when they lose. But still not on the scale of Celtic losing which can put me on a right * downer

 

Well that day is long long way off, even them meeting in the EL or CL is a long way off :smiley-laughing002:
Taught about it before, im sure Celtic would always come first but wouldnt know for sure until it actually happened.

I had my first United top at age 7 which was 1993. Man United had only won the title twice in over 20 years, no gloryhunting to be had back then
