As much as I hate calling for a mangers head, you need to ask. Are we any better now than when he first took over?

Does anyone else think 4-2-3-1 is actually the way to go but that we are just playing it totally wrong? Its designed to be played with wingers bombing down the flanks with full backs in support and the centre forward behind the striker roaming about creating spaces high up the Park and linking the play. Instead today we played 1 winger with no attacking fullback behind him to compliment the play and one attacking midfielder who refused to beat a man. In the middle we originally had mcgregor sitting deep as the central attacking midfielder when he's clearly better deeper and then just a flat midfield two.

Therefore we had neither any width or any chance of creating something through the middle. There's a reason we seem to play better with either Rogic or Allan in behind. Its because they actually play the position properly meaning we at least have half of the formation working properly.

I agree with this mate, although would like to see a bit of flexibility with it and play 2 strikers if the situation demands it.

Playing commons and Armstrong as wingers is definatly not the answer.

Aye I'd agree with that mate. When we're at home in the league against dross teams a strike partnership is the way to go. I just feel that if we play this formation that way it should be played the team could peak higher than if we play 4-4-2. 4-4-2 is a good formation in Scotland and when played well it probably works the best in our league but in Europe I can only see us having success if we get a proper streamlined, efficient 4-2-3-1 with correct positions and every plater knowing their role. Therefore if that means having to sacrifice 2 strikers in Scotland then so be it.

However at the moment we're not playing the formation properly anyway so none of that matters.

What has happened to the myth about our greater fitness levels. Ronny blows a lot of hot air. We look legless at times. I've had enough of him long before today

the next couple of games we need a response from the players and ronnie needs to motivate them or it will be time to call a taxi for the manager ,but i think alot of celtic fans have had enough of ronnie and are looking for a change but there seems to be a big game mind block with alot of the players when we play a semi final or final as it happened alot over the last few years .

Maybe but that'd be useless for us if we had to sack him the now.

At the end of the day since he has came here Ronny has non stop been about long-term improvement and fair do's for his first season in charge coming from Stromsgodset to Celtic is quite a big leap so winning the league, Scottish league cup and out of the Europa league groups stage is commendable... But by February we are already in a worse situation than we were last year, we were still in 4 competitions at this time but now we're only in 2... and fair do's he can't be blamed for Ambrose being sent off etc.. (still don't think it should've been a straight red) but his lack of a plan B is astonishing... He said in the interview "It was a day when small things went against us." but it's just the same story, how come under NL it wasn't always small things going against us...I honestly don't know who we could realistically get as a replacement/better manager but one thing I'm sure of is I am a lot less confident of qualifying for the CL this year than I was last year and look how that turned out...

My issue here is that If Deila goes then who do we replace him with? I looked at the bookies favourites list and my heart sunk deeper with each name I read.
