Both are beyond our reach. If it makes you feel better.

Keane's knocked us back and is Ireland's assistant manager going into the Euro's and Coyle is on a good contract in America.

If we appointed Owen Coyle I'd go and watch netball till the * was sacked

There was a guy on another forum, who is highly regarded btw, saying that Keane knocked us back as he wanted his own backroom team and we wanted deila as his number 2, which he wouldn't accept.

I agree with this. There's plenty of hungry and talented managers out there that have excellent experience from their playing days, not to mention assistant managers looking to become managers. The success of Neil Lennon should show that we don't need a Moyes or a Rodgers.

Don't need to look far to find the reason mate, it's in his book.

That was amongst many reasons. Too many stipulations in the contract apparently.

Yeah read Keane's book it's all in the final chapter said he wanted the job but the club would pick his backroom staff for him like they did for Ronny

The guy should have been sacked after the malmo game, or at least after our pathetic showing in the Europa league. Hes a dreamer, got all the patter, but is quite simply hopeless. Way out his depth.

You could see it in his eyes during the game that he didn't have a clue .

I remember reading that Ronny had a fantastic assistant at Stromgodset yet he never came with him
It was like Liverpool appointing Klopp and leaving him with Rodgers backroom staff it just doesn't work

The easiest thing would be if the fans would just lower their expectations and accept a top 3 finish in the league is a successful season. If everyone accepts that then we can clearly see that Ronny is doing a great job by having us top of the table this far into the season.

Aye thanks for personal case study.
    ...Hmmmmm.

    Ye make such thoughtful points??!

ANYWAY.....Actually i read over this site pretty much before every Celtic game.
I love hearing fellow Celtic fans' opinions before ALL matches....regardless of the competition we are in.

I'm a season ticket holder, as are most others on this forum.

So i feel I have the right to at least share my opinion on a forum (an opinion thats apparently worth attacking by eejits just because they have posted MORE than me? ..or by a *....who would rather comment on my profile photo before he/she comments on my opinion?

    Aye....very good.)

......I didnt "choose" today to come back to anything.

Today I felt completely frustrated and embarrassed.

If there's ANYTYHING that I at least take comfort in after an embarrassing defeat is at the very LEAST listening to fellow Celtic supporters voice their opinion on the future of the Club.

I expected to voice my opinion within this forum?
    That not the case? :50:

I'd be very surprised if that is the case. Nothing wrong with it, just an observation.

    Aye, whatever you say....

Just a bit funny that all of your posts are negative. Why not come on and praise us the last few games when we've been outstanding?

The most depressing thing is that * all is going to change, he'll still be the manager for the qualifiers and when we get knocked out again we'll have at least another season with him.

Think if he fails to qualify for the CL next season he'll be gone straight away.

I don't mind losing in big games, defeats happen and that's football but it's the manner of the defeats in the big games under Deila. Today was no exception as we looked gutless.
