    I agree. I don't think they're anything special; I just think they're obviously decent.

I'm kinda split on this one.

On one hand I don't think the board would hesitate in sacking Deila if we failed to qualify for the knock out in Europa League, especially as I'd imagine it would have an effect on attendances.

On the other hand, if we win the League and a cup, and with the zombies probably going to get promoted and therefore attendances may rise, then the board might sit tight with him.

Personally, I think our aim should be to get into the CL Groups, or latter stages of EL, and we have failed miserably to this point. Therefore, I think we need to address the situation and have a very big decision to make on how we progress.

You make a very good point and one that maybe in the morning we'll reflect upon because it's no excuse but it is a fact Ronny has been very unlucky. I'm thinking of games like Inter when Gordon had his first bad game ever. Then Malmo when we lost that goal in the last second. Especially when we lost a late goal against Ajax after Izzy went mental and then Efe had a stroke against Fenerbahce. We were doing so well in those games and if fortune went our way then Ronny would be a hero now. I remember when Karagandy hit the bar in the 3 0 game, we were so close to going out and then even closer till Stokes had a Messi moment and Forrest scored with seconds remaining.

But I guess the thing is it's not our luck we're misgiving it's the performance. Don't mind getting beat when we've given it everything.

Where is your evidence of this? Seeing his team regress is not the words I would use, I think more accurately he seen the heart ripped out of his team to fill the clubs coffers and he was given a small portion of the profits to rebuild.

I said this earlier on in another thread, or it might have been this thread I don't remember.

Even when Lenny was struggling in his first couple of seasons like everyone (including myself) likes to say when complaining about Ronny, you could see that he had signed some genuine stars. Players you could see were * really good and would go for big money in the future.

Can anyone name one player that Ronny has bought that you can see going for big bucks?

Don't scouts recommend a load of players though and them it's up to the manager to watch them and ultimately sign them if he thinks they're good enough? I'm pretty sure the scouting teams would have recommended a load of * to O'Neill, Strachan and Lennon.

Why not including the RK or Stjarnan games?

Because they are basically * teams mate. Those 2nd Qualifying matches are glorified friendlies.

    Against those teams:

    Played 4, Won 4
    Scored: 10, conceded 1

There is no way Ronny has been offered and rejected players like Wanyama and Virgil. There must be something different now from when Lenny was in charge.

This is the crux of it though. If we had scored 5 against Molde tonight, they would have scored 6. We're that kind of team, we absolutely cannot defend. It's made all the more frustrating because we can get a couple of goals, but it's pointless if you neglect the other end, that's just football.

Fenerbahce, Ajax, Malmo and Molde.. we scored plenty against those teams but just couldn't defend. Ask yourself, how many of those came from set pieces and where would we be if we had sorted it..

The opposite was the Karagandy situation you're talking about. If Karagandy had sneaked a goal, we would have scored whatever we needed to go through. That's the difference.

He is getting to the point of being indefensible.

Defensively it seems he has never quite worked it out.
