Yeah he dropped deeper at times but he was close to the boy who scored a lot of the time as well. In the second half our plan A was nullified a good bit. I have not been too critical as I do think he got it right for the most part and was unlucky but it is still correct to say that his counterpart made a decision in real time that countered his initial success.

Thats not really acceptable in my book. We are almost guaranteed to concede goals in europe the way we set up, it really is so poor. Its the same mistakes again and again, zonal marking at corners, someone has a brain fart or we get over run in midfield and are torn open and i see no improvement.

Nah, his counterpart had a player injured and had to being somebody on. Then Efe Efe'd up.

Ronny got it all spot on last night, he was let down by Ambrose.

I'v been quite impressed by our performances in Europe this year apart from Malmo away we just need to cut out the mistakes and we'll be good, which have been mostly individual errors like Ambrose last night and Gordon vs Inter or defensive errors from set-peices.

Even at 2 0 last night it was anything but comfortable you knew they were going to get back in to it

Not just that though the Diego fella came on and influenced it as well. Overall though i do think he was unlucky. The truth is that luck does play a part in football at times. Ronny hasnt really had a big result either which doesnt bode well for him.

To be fair, he hasn't had a lot of opportunities against big teams. Inter, Ajax and Fenerbahce and we've been unlucky against all three.

The only thing I really hold against Ronny is Malmo. That performance was unacceptable.

Well the failure to qualify to meet the big teams is down to him as well.

Agreed. He gets a pass for me for the first season, but we should have won against Malmo.

There is definitely a frailty about this side. The way we seem to crumble when a team inevitably has a spell in attacking us is very worrying.

The Fenerbache coach obviously seen something about us and changed it up and we took too long in figuring out what it was and countering it.

To be fair we finished the game strongly and looked the more likely to get a winner but the glass jaw must be sorted out and * quickly.

If you had offered me two draws from the opening two games I would have grudgingly accepted it, yet it feels like we've thrown away 4 points and that's the annoying thing.

The biggest mistake Deila made last night was starting a player who is well known for making far too many mistakes, and big ones at that. Ambrose made their manager look like a tactical genius as he gifted two goals to the sub they brought on.

To be fair his options are limited. Such a shame that our marquee signing is * injured.

Efe would probably be nowhere near the team if Simunovic had been fit.

His options are limited, but as I've already said, I don't think Ambrose should still be wearing a Celtic jersey. The fact that his mistakes last night don't even come as a shock to anyone tells you all you need to know. I defend Deila constantly on here, and I felt sorry for him with the Inter & Ajax games, because it was uncharacteristic mistakes from Gordon and Izaguirre that let the team and manager down, but if he selects Ambrose, then mistakes are par for the course, and he should know that.

When o when will people realise that deila talks an excellent game, but fails to deliver!!!!!.

Beginning of last season, it was the players fault, they weren't fit enough, they weren't good enough, he persisted with Pukki, Berget, refusing to play Commons and Griffiths. The very players that rescue him time after time.

This season he says we are better prepared for Europe " he know's his best team this year" which suggests last year he made a whole host of changes to a team that had just won the league by 29 points, without knowing his best team.

Every time we win any game, he states we are getting better and stronger than the week before, jesus we should be invincible by now.

His comment about if Aberdeen win the league then sack me!!!! Aberdeen should not be getting even close, last season they spent £275.000 all season on one player, we spent on Skep, GMS, Armstrong and loan fees any where up to 8 million depending on what figures you take as accurate. We raped Dundee Utd, and yet Cifti and Armstrong, GMS have not kicked on under Ronnie's reign, although his strength according to him is developing young players.

Again he talks a great job but does not deliver, it really is the Emperor's new clothes!!!!!!!

Why!!!!!!! because i don't agree with the "Ronnie is love Ronnie is life, Ronnie is the saviour" brigade.

I think you need to get more wound up about the direction he is taking us, not me calming down.

Good post JohnFife1959. He certainly talks a big game. Since his "real winners" speech we haven't won a game. In fact we have not beaten a team that we should not expect to beat since he got here. The only victories he had was against teams that are inferior to us. I will get it from all angles for pointing it out but I dont care it is the truth. I honestly dont think he is the man to take us forward and if he is then we will be a long time waiting until he learns what some of us already know.
