    Highly debatable that.

    It's still comparable though.

Folk are going insane just like they were when Lennon was struggling, that's the point I'm trying to make.

He took over a 'Champions League' side which had been severely humped and was on it's way down. Then has lost his best player and is now effectively back at a transitional stage.

I'd judge him in a few months more severely.

No it's not, we were in the Champions League. That's not debateable in the slightest.

Between November 2014 and the end of July 2015, you made 3 posts - one agreeing about attendances, one about Mulgrew and one about the Dundee cup game. No coincidence that you disappeared like snow off a * during the period where it came together for Deila and there was a great feeling surrounding the club. Fortunately in my experience, people like you who want Celtic to lose going by your early post, exist only on the internet.

Nah, it's not comparable. Comparing our situation just now, to that of a completely different time and manager and circumstances to that of us just now is just a fallacy. Jusge him on what Ronny is just now, not on what Lenny done.

Ronny himself said judge him a year down the line, did he not?

Lennon's team were looking pretty good to me. This team are the pits.

We constantly sell our best players so we are constantly in a 'transitional period' it's not an excuse

But Ronny didn't take over that team that barely managed to qualify against Karagandy. He didn't even take over the team that got pumped in the group stage. He took over six months after that - I don't feel confident at all that Lenny would have beat Legia. Maribor, maybe.

So you didn't have any concerns under Lennon during that period, no? I'm not talking about after, I'm talking about when he was struggling. I find that hard to believe.

No, I backed Lennon all the way. I liked the players he was signing and the team he was putting on the park. I thought it would come good which it clearly did.

I think the reaction(severe overreaction in some cases) is comparable, personally. I'm not trying to compare them as managers. However they both have gone through periods of struggle and Deila deserves at least some more time.

Chopping and changing will do zero good. Especially when you look at the options we have to bring in.

I was * off after that defeat but I actually seen it coming, due to all the changes we have made at the back, in particular.

I'm prepared to see if we can turn this around, as it's still only September, as we all know. Or some might be forgetting.

We had been horsed out of the EL by Sion, after the previous season embarrassing ourselves in Utrecht, and were sitting something like 15 points behind the huns. Aye it all looked pretty good!

With Lennon's team, you could see they had fight. This team do not look like they've got that.

Aye, he took over a team that had settled and improved since then. I'd be 100% confident of Lenny's team beating all of them.

Does it not worry you that you could see that coming but Ronny couldn't? There's very simple ways you can protect a new back four.

That Tony Mowbray team was a shambles, a complete shambles. Even the teams that were finishing half way down the table in the early 90's were better for me. Just that the SPL is weaker when Mowbray was here.

What difference does it make? Really? We are all going backwards and forwards with ifs, buts and maybes! And living in the past! Why not compare us to the Lisbon lions for Christ sake. Last year is gone! Lennon is gone! As a have been saying let's get behind the team and really make a difference. In a few games time this can all be forgotten about. A big 8 days ahead. The competition from Aberdeen is what we need! Players knowing that they have a challenge. A can see a few teams getting a pumping from us soon as there will be more focus and desire. If u own a shop with no competition u will rake it in. One opens next to u, what do u do? Simples! Pull out all the stops to succeed by extra hours, strategy and training etc. It will happen, cause it now has too! This competition could be the making of us! If Aberdeen are still challenging in January a can see us spending a wee bit on new faces. Would that happen if they weren't? In time for the dead coming up too.
