I think what he's getting at is the manager is told you're budget for wages and transfer fees is X amount and the manager has total control over that. Whether he wants to pay one player £100k a week and the rest £2k.

I don't think that's entirely feasible in football anymore, the manager wouldn't have a lot of time to actually manage the team.

 

I think we need to look at Ronny's job more objectively just now, he can still turn it around and I do still have some faith that he'll be successful here, it's usually in this time frame during the transition of a football club and team that it gets rocky (18-24 months in) and very testing for the team and fans.

A lot has changed and even now the team is not settled through selling key players, buying in players that need developed, injuries and under performing players who we know can do much better. I'm just trying to have a different view on it instead of the usual rhetoric of sack Ronny, he's * & clueless blah blah blah.
The team needs support more than ever, it's an interesting few months ahead and at this point I'm not fussed if Ronny stays or goes but I would rather he gets chance to turn it around which he will get from the board.

We'll win the league I have no doubts about that and I think we'll win the Scottish cup as well.

I don't care how other people think. Until he gets his jotters he is our manager and we have a league to win.

As long as he keeps winning then he gets my full support.

As bad as Boyd is, there's a little bit of me that would be disappointed in some way if I tuned into Celtic TV and he wasn't doing the commentary :smiley-laughing002:

some supporters need to wake up and smell the coffee so to speak we have been saying for months now that aberdeen cant keep this up but here we have 14 games to go and they are level on points with us . yes aberdeen has improved over the last season but celtic have went downwards big style this season also . the next 14 games need to be played like cup finals and every celtic player must give 100% and the manager must do his bit and get the best out the players .
