glory hunters-what a * term.if you get to see celtic play once a year or twenty times it should make no difference.
gone are the days when i can travel across the sea when i want,my wife and two kids come first and foremost,so when a few extra pounds are available i make my way to a game.
does this make me a glory hunter,if you answer yes, then you can * right off.
31 years since my first game and more money spent tavelling to games over the years allows many others and myself to attend a match when i can,no matter how we are playing.
    faithful through and through:50:

I sit in the "leather seats", I go to every home game . Does that make me a gloryhunter?
People seem to be lableing anyone who sits there as less than a fan .
I understand calling someone a glory hunter if they have a season ticket and do not go to games purely because of recent results/performances, however if someone can't go because of other responsibilities or money then in no way are they "glory hunters" . The last few attendances have been good and that is a good thing .

When you have as many supporters as Celtic do, you are always going to get some people who only come along when times are good. It's not my way of working but at least these people are Celtic fans at the end of the day.

I think it's best not to be too judgmental about the way other people choose to support our team.

Doesn't make you any less a fan than the next game. I could say I am worse I have a season ticket and missed the 3 games in a row late December For 1 reason or another

I don't have a problem with fans who chose to not go to the games when we are playing * but i do have a problem with them when they have a go at the fans who do go to all the games and then label them real fans.

The fans who do go to all the games are more a celtic fan than those who don't go as we are playing *. I am not talking about fans who can't afford to go to the game or can't make it every game due to where they live just the fans who can go but don't go as we are playing *.

well i have 2 kids! dont have a season book! get to as many games as possible a season! due to work commitment and her working weekends. makes this a little difficult to go every week. so i take it i must be a full of * glory hunting * like the rest of the other bhoys? what a pile of * hang your head in shame ffs.

What a silly * thread. We are in one of the worst recessions there ever is, the reason why the ground was empty last few months is because christmass was coming up and people had to look after they're familys which IMO is far more important that going to a football game. I would class myself as a dire hard celtic man but when its a toss up betwenn family and them then they come off 2nd best all day long. When money starts flowing into people's pockets again then youll see the ground fill for every game again, even the for the diddy teams. Remember the times we are in before you make a silly thread liek this again!!

    i

Think your being a bit harsh there mate. I would,nt class fans who can't go to every game at Parkhead "Glory hunters", Don't mean to sound like a depresso but we are in hard times and a lot of fans just can't raise the money to go now and have bigger priorities in their lives and we are also just getting over the Christmas period . If you go to one game a season you are no less a Celtic fan than those who attend every week, it just means some are in a more fortunate position to get to more games than others. A lot of fans who do not go to games still spend good money on merchandise which is big business for the club. I live in Belfast and for me to go to a game it does cost a few quid and can,t go to as many as I would like and certainly dont see myself as a glory hunter but as much of a Celtic fan as those who proclaim to be the best.

our attendances have constantly been around the 47,000 mark all season, apart from the dip around christmas for obvious reasons. the aberdeen game was 48,000, making your claim absolute bollocks :)

No need to flame other members. I'm sure you're intelligent enough to disagree with someone's opinion without resorting to calling them a 'fud'.
