The return of Mo Bangura

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by 30stm87, Nov 23, 2013.

  1. he hardly got much of a chance here in the first place

i'd give him a shot were still paying for him and our current strikers aren't doing it so may aswell see how he is now after a season away

give the bloke a chance the amount of pressure he was put under not to play against us and then by elfsborg to play against us

he was caught between a rock and a hard place

  2. * it. Might as well.

  3. and another reason for our strikers not scoring is probably due to the fact our build up is so slow

thats ok if you have £20/30m strikers that can and regularly create goals for themselves but at the max of 3m that aint enough to get that kind of quality

i think he would be best played in a 2 man strike force or on the right of our 3 man attacking midfield

  4. His attitude to the supporters was spot on when he was time wasting and trying go cheat roll around and get players sent off..

    Oh I imagined that,my mistake..

He got a good few chances and done fuckall part from a header in a friendly in Marbella..
    Great boost he'll be..

  5. well now that hes back he will get the chance to make up for being the * he was for that piece of nonsence :50: at the end of the day he only made a * of himself

  6. And don't forget Lennon asked him not to play at all! He was still a Celtic player. Defies me how he could have the cheek to behave like that. I remember thinking at the time that I'd be sick in my own face if I ever saw him in the hoops again.

  7. Celtic made the mistake by not putting a clause in his loan agreement.

He was left in a very difficult position. Celtic asking him not to play and his loan club asking him to play.

Personally, I wouldn't refuse to play if selected. I think that would be the least professional option out of a bad bunch.

  8. You can't put a clause in a european loan agreement only domestically..

It's not even the fact he played it's the way he want about his actions on the field that disgusted me..

He'll never play again for us..

  9. You're not permitted to do that, domestically its different

  10. I wouldn't play. At the end of the day he was on loan only to increase his chances of playing for us. I would be doing my best to please my parent club. Especially because it was Elfsborg that put him in that position by trying to make him play when they should have had some respect and left him out. It wouldn't have harmed them to drop him anyway, given that he's absolutely *.

  11. Elfsborg were paying his wages, he couldn't just refuse to play could he? He was put in a very difficult position.

  12. Elfsborg weren't, we were paying his wages. Elfsborg gave us a million quid though.

Think he will be off back to Sweden soon.

  13. Usually the club a loanee is at pays the players wages, no? If his case is different fair enough.

Even at that, I don't think he could just say ''* off, I'm not playing'', it was a difficult situation for him and I for one don't hold it against him.

  14. Not all the time, no. In this case we got money upfront for him but he was still on our wage book.

Usually players fake an injury in situations like that. Fair play to his professionalism but his playacting is what has left a bad taste in my mouth, don't think he'll be welcome here.

  15. Right mo comes back who's getting bangura on the back of there and there kids tops?

Straight up question yes or no?

  16. Can't wait to have him back, the Sierra Leone Mo Bangura CSC has been noticeably quieter since he went on loan! Seriously though, not sure how he'd be able to get back in the side after that clash he had with Brown (his captain!) in the Elfsborg leg.

  17. He's no worse than some we have just now. So give him a chance I say. Pukki's hardly been on fire since he came.

  18. Pukki, Stokes, Balde, Samaras, Commons...I don't see Bangura having a future with us and I'm sure he'll be welcomed back as much as a dose of the *.

I'd rather we just cut our losses with Bangura and punted him in January.

He's definitely no better either, and I'd much prefer us continue to give Pukki a start ahead of Bangura.

  19. Plus we have the new bhoy from iceland and Watt
