    I was at a midweek game against Falkirk l think and the official attendance was 8,000.

    Said before on here that the day that * Johnstone signed for us we played Hibs in his first game and it was like a full house European game in the approach to Parkhead yet the official attendance was only 28,000 (normal attendances around that time were late teens) The Kellys and Whites were at it with the money

    Regarding Jim Farry, in the late 60's onwards my dad could always get good seats for Hampden games (finals, semis and internationals) Turned out he worked with Farry's mother at the time and she got him tickets and if my memory Farry wasn't a hun, he was a Clyde supporter. Our Fergus still showed him up as a * in later years

    The ironic thing is mate he got booed onto the park by a large number of supporters (not all), a bit like lawwell probably would today.
