* hate poppy season.
Really gets on my * that if you don't wear one or conform to the media's poppy licking * you're a * unbritish * *.
Funny that. I like being called non British coz I hate Britain. But the biggest * hun * about is the crown and its armies and those that march draped in the butchers apron
Few years back on good morning Britian or some *, they had one of the oldest living veterans on and he tore them apart. I was almost in tears listening to this old chap talking about how he lost so many friends and family and made friends with a German who hated the war alsoNakamuraTastic, neilly1987, johnboy19 and 2 others like this. -
About as embarrassing as the halfwits that drive around with ones the size of dinner plates on their front bumper.

I hate how the huns have monopolised the whole poppy thing over the last few years and want to be seen as the country's quintessential british club. From their massive big poppy's on their cars and vans to the boak inducing forces love in at ipox. I think they forget that the armed forces consisted of men and women from different religions (RC's included), different countries (Ireland included) who were forced to fight in wars not of their own making. The weirdest thing about it for me is that the world fought against the scourge of Nazism and yet the hun fans are seen giving * salutes and have right wing views on about practically everything.

More forced mourning that doesn’t have an end or start date. Quite the common theme nowadays

The most boring time of the year by far. The same old regurgitated pish every single year from the same people/organisations. De ja *’ vu.

The spotlight is on those who choose not to wear it. Absolute circus.
Stick yer poppy up yer *.Liam Scales, NakamuraTastic and The Phoenix like this. -
BBC won’t allow anybody on screen right through November if they aren’t wearing a poppy… they are utter poppy fascists top to bottom..
“Here… wear a political badge (even though we don’t allow political badges) to show support for something whether you believe in it or not…. Or we will sack you.”
Sad thing is…. Nobody EVER challenges it… and if they did they wouldn’t be on screen… so we’d never know anyway.Last edited: Nov 5, 2022Forestbhoy66 likes this. -

I quite like the run up to Poppy Day,
The excitement and wonder on the faces of the little children wondering what poppyclaus will bring them on that magical morning of the 11th of the 11th.
Will it be a new poppy hat ?
Or a poppy onesie?
And the best off all, the Poppy Day dinner, hard biscuits and powdered eggs just like our brave soldiers had in the trenches during WW1 then the red poppy cake made with real poppies and topped with a sprinkling of heroin.
so remember, send out your merry Poppy Day cards before it’s to late.
A bit far fetched?
Maybe
But give it a couple of years and It will be a reality.StevieBhoooy! likes this. -
When I lived in High Wycombe some * went around on 10th November putting small poppies on front grill of peoples cars. One guy caught him and smashed him.
