See on bbc 'some stars' may be rested. Much as I'd like to see us pump Rapid severely, I reckon that approach is sensible. Nothing at stake, save potential injuries.
I'll be watching rabidly nonetheless. -
I think we're going to see a similar performance to the one we saw at Celtic Park when we thrashed Villa Real. Remember it? It was the best I'd seen the modern Celtic side play, ever. It was our last CL group game, with elimination assured, nothing was at stake, there was no pressure. Here we are in a similar situation, no pressure. I believe this will allow players to not worry or bottle it, and go out there and try to grab a final win in what hasn't been a great campaign. We will score 3 goals. However, as Motherwell demonstrated to us, we still have those defensive frailties. They will try to grab a win but the one difference between this side and the side that kept a clean sheet against Villa Real is our * poor defense of late, therefore I believe Rapid will score 3 times. Final score: 3-3

I don't give a toss about this game.
The Heart's game at Tynecastle on Sunday is of crucial importance. :50: -

Just a quick run-through of who I'd like to see given a bit of game time. The problem is in such massive changed teams that there is no consistency for players and therefore the performance may suffer and they may look worse than if as individuals they were dropped into our first 11. Ach who knows. -

I do want us to win and help us restore a bit of pride in Europe, but it's a meaningless game so I'd rather we rested some players for Sunday.
I'd like to see McGeady, Samaras, Robson and N'Guemo rested. -
-
No changes for me ,this team are finally finding there way and yes there is still cracks appearing so the more games for this full team the better.
-
I'm stuck in two minds over this game, it's meaningless (although not to the fans that have forked out good money to go) so I don't want to see any of our key players get injured, however, I also want to see us continue to build the momentum we've been gathering over the past few weeks.
All in all I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of key players rested but I wouldn't want wholesale changes.
No matter who plays I'm hoping for a win to end our European campaign on a bit of a high at least. -

I'd give quite a few players a rest in this one, my thinking is 1-1 with some of the younger players putting their skills on show for the manager.

Not only would this give some players a chance to catch the managers eye, it also gives us a chance to put some of the less highly regarded players in the shop window (Flood, Robson, Mizuno & Naylor.) -
Even though it's meaningless, I'd still play a strong team.
Can't let those * Vienna leap above us in the group.
It's going to be played in the same stadium as the Euro 2008 final (Ernst Happel), tickets sold out months ago apparently. -
The only thing we owe Rapid Vienna is a real hiding, however I would prefer it to be in a game which really counts. Give all the fringe players an outing, save the first team for Hearts on Sunday. We want to go into the Old Firm game without losing another single point, therefore let's keep our number one line-up in reserve for Hearts
