    --------------------JVOH--------McDonald

    -----Hartley------Donati-------Brown----McGeady

    ----Naylor------McManus------Kennedy--Caldwell

    ---------------------------KING ARTUR

Gotta go for it this time,Hartley is a smart geezer he will make the late runs into the backpost from crosses, there will be a lot more of them because mcgeady is playing on the right than on the left,i actually think him playing on the left for so long has made him a better right winger, its made him work on his left foot....maybe that was the plan all along:97:

    I'll go for 2-0 Celtic.

It'll deffo not be easy anyway and tbh i think it'd be a miracle if we got through. I'm not saying we're not up to it but we've got be a bit realistic. I'm hoping for a 3-1 victory but we'll see...

i think we can manage with out naka even though it means pressure will be on mcgeady to be the creative one, i think for us to mae real deadly chances mcgeady and brown need to be at their best and pierce their defense.

mcdonald is * hot right now and i'm sure he's pusing 15 goals this season in all competitions, 10 in the league 1 in CL and not sure if he scored any cup games, but still he's scoring for fun and he needs the best service that is possible from all the players around him.

if JVOH plays then he needs to be tip top from the word go which ma be alot to ask as he's been injured but if he's at 90% i'd say give it to killen instead.

this game is going to be a test for us more so the when we beat milan strictly because this is a MUST WIN game, i don't think we should expect another 3-0, we have the players to do that again but i don't think benfica will fall for it twice.

i hope GS starts with two upfront as we need goals and if we can, score as many as possible, bt i can't help but feel he will rest mcdonald and have mgeady on the bench and will only play with the one up front.

heres hoping GS gets it right from the start and doesn't need to make his trademark last gasp sub to save the match as that won't work in the CL.

but that doesn't mean it will work all the time plus we havn't got naka this time so our creativity in midfield is limited to maybe mcgeady and brown.

chances are is that hartley, jj, donati will start but i don't actually understand what they can do besides just make up the numbers

Making up the numbers is all JJ does. Basically a body to get in the way but he is very limited in attack. To be fair to him he is a slow lanky guy who is really a sitting midielder and cant do much in attack. Even his passing is indifferent. Thats why I would play Donati who also has the limitation of being a bit slow and lanky but has a good range of passing. Donati is a little suspect in a defencive sense at this level but with Hartley and Brown in there too I would pick him. I would rather Donati was played on the left with Brown and Hartley in the middle and Aidan on the right. That would be better than moving Brown wide right and Aidan wide left which doesnt suit either. Hartley has to play in the middle.

its only now that didier agathe is gone that you really miss his pace on the wing
