    Gus Bradley sacked by Jacksonville.

  8. Well after 14 long years the Raiders are finally back in the playoffs after yesterdays win over the Chargers. Strange game in that we had the 2 highest scoring attacks in the AFC going at it and yet the game turned out to be a low scoring grind. But no matter the Raiders get the win thanks to long standing and loyal kicker Janikowski and are in the playoffs for sure although winning the division is still very much a possibility as well which if that could be achieved would also mean the Raiders would get a bye through the first round of the playoffs.

  9. Wrapping up a play-off place by Week 15? That * is boring.

Much better to struggle all the way through to Week 17 and give your fans heart failure on a weekly basis by playing either up or down to the level of your opposition.:giggle1:

Still can't believe it. for how many years have we been discussing terrible and hopeless seasons and then Reggie McKenzie, Mack, Carr and Jack del Rio happened. First time since i have been watching the nfl closely we made it. looking so forward to it! raider nation world wide

Raider nation was in full evidence yesterday for sure. Technically it was a Chargers home game but there was almost as many Raiders fans there as Chargers fans.

Loved it. the whole stadium was covered in silver and black.

On espn: "outnumbering Chargers fans by roughly 80 percent to 20 percent in the crowd of 68,352, the largest in San Diego this season."

"It was a road game," San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers said. "It was just like being in Oakland. Except there were more people."

"I was very excited, very joyful, looking around the stadium and seeing our fans just going crazy," quarterback Derek Carr said. "When we come to San Diego, our fans turn it into a home game. We always think we get nine home games a year."

  16. That's not uncommon in San Diego. Chargers fans in that town are seriously disillusioned right now. Hard to blame them for feeling that way when they know the team is about to up sticks and leave.

I know there's been talk of them going for years but has it been confirmed mate.

  18. It hasn't been confirmed but a vote to build a new stadium in San Diego was defeated. It's difficult to now see an outcome where the Chargers remain in San Diego.

Aye there was talk of them going to LA with the Rams but I'm sure Kroenke kicked that into touch, I seen a mad rumour of them going to Las Vegas. :88:
