Had it a couple of years back but * that, I get all the games on Sportsmania or on my Plex server, it is basically the game pass they are showing and all in HD.

AFC West up for grabs tonight in Kansas City. If they win then they are in the box seat with 3 games left although only on a tie breaker. If the Raiders can come up with a win the division would be basically done and dusted for the silver and black. Given how the team is playing I am hopeful but I must admit given what a terrible record the Raiders have against Kansas City I am not very optimistic about tonight. Including a heavy loss at home this season the Raiders are only 17-37 against the Chiefs going back to 1990.

I'd like the Raiders to win as long as they let Spencer Ware score a TD. Got £50 on him.

Plus if the Raiders win tonight they've virtually got home field advantage sewn up because we're going to pump the Patriots on Monday night. :84:

I paid £140 for it at the start of the year, so that sounds about right.

Okay I'd like opinions on this please:

In my league we have two divisions. AFC & NFC. We've had our tie breaker set to head to head. Two of the teams in the AFC (Todd & Mike) were tied at 5-7 going into the last game. They both beat each other when playing each other throughout the season, but Todd did so by more points so he was ahead on head to head and in the playoff spot.

They both lost their last games and finished 5-8, but two of the teams in the NFC won their games and went to 5-8. Everyone thought that Todd had the last play off spot (three from each division). But the league merged all ten teams, four teams were 5-8 so it calculated head to head on that and put Mike above Todd as he performed better against the other 5-8 teams.

We are playing divisional fantasy football and don't think that the teams should of been merged before applying the tie break, so we overruled what the website did and kicked Mike out the playoffs and put Todd back in.

I just want to know what everyone else would of done in that situation.

    That's fair enough.
I was talking to the commissioner of my league last night and we're looking to bring in divisions next year in our 12 team. 4 divisions of 3 or something. I'm all for it , should make it more interesting.

Well the Raiders blew a chance to all but win the AFC West last night. But I must admit as well as the Raiders have been playing this season I was not confident about last night as Kansas City just has been a team that seems to have the Raiders number for a while now.
Having said that I really think the Raiders still have a good shot at winning the division. The next game with a few extra days rest is away to San Diego although given the number of Raider fans that get to those games it is hardly like an away game. Then its home to the Colts. Wins in both those games I think will set up a winner takes all match up in the final weekend at Denver and as badly as the Raiders seem to match up with Chiefs I think the opposite is the case with the Broncos. Time will tell.

This was the 2nd game I missed this season. Even though we lost I had a lof of fun reading your post mate. "Well the Raiders blew a chance to all but win the AFC West last night."... who would have thought that last year? 2 years ago? We have improved so much I still can't believe it. We are for real and I'll tell you why I'm not even mad that we lost last night:
    - At times we were lucky this season and came back to earth. We have a lot of young guys and sometimes a reality check is needed to become stronger and develop. it provided valuable experience.
    - Carr apparently was terrible. No one plays godlike all season long. I'd rather have one bad game during the regular season and be ready for the post season. That was his worst game, it won't happen again.
    - there's no way we lose to the chiefs 3 times in a season. If we gotta play them again in the post season it will be revenge time
    - our def has been improving for weeks and will be ready when post season arrives.

at the end of the day we are the coolest nfl team with a fanbase that's second to none. raider nation world wide

Gotta be honest I probably wouldn't have made the switch. Unless you clearly stated before the season started that the top three teams out of each division would be the teams that went into the play-offs, in which case it would be fair enough.

Carr's pinky is clearly a problem just now. There were chances for the Raiders to win that game last night but he was missing some throws he would normally make. With a fully fit Carr I think the Raiders win that game. Although having said that, the Chiefs looked the better team until Derrick Johnson got injured.

Yeh it was clearly stated that it would be three from each.

The guy who we kicked out the play offs continued to spit his dummy out and dropped all the players he could, before we had to lock his team and put all his players back in. He's calmed down now. :56:

Glad you enjoyed. I totally was of the same mindset as you with the loss as well. Not happy obviously but its far from a disaster and I really do think with wins in the next 2 games then the final game against the Broncos will be a chance to win the division. Given how bad things have been for so long its hard not to be too bothered really given the 10-3 record and the way the team plays. It is flat out an exciting fun team to watch. I wonder if Markybhoy has a point and Carr's pinky finger issue was a factor in that poor performance by his high standards. Lets hope the extra few days rest until the Chargers game gives Carr the chance to fully heal and be back to his best. In fairness to the Raiders the last 2 losses have been against Kansas City and the response was very good last time. Lets hope the response after Thursday nights loss is the same and this divisional title could still make it's way to the Raiders yet. But regardless this is still a young improving team and even if the Raiders do not win the division I am confident the Raiders can still make the playoffs and do some damage as a wild card team.
